3 The first ever ND Music Awards were held February 19, 2015, at the historic Belle Mehus Auditorium in Bismarck, ND. URL Radio hosted the event with nominations accepted October 16 December 20. The public was then able to access the website voting and vote for their favorites. Mr. Mark Perkins was one of five nominees in the category of ND Music Educator of the Year. Mark, his wife Gayle, daughter Kelly Robinson, and granddaughter Harper Robinson attended the red carpet event which was similar to the American Music Awards with presenters and live performances. All of us at Scranton School would like to congratulate Mr. Perkins on being the ND Music Educator of the Year! Scranton School would also like to congratulate Mark s daughter, Kat, on being the ND Music Awards Breakout Artist of the Year!
