INCONEL lloy 69 is high-chromium nickel lloy with excellent resistnce to mny corrosive queous medi nd high-temperture tmospheres. The lloy's high chromium content gives it excellent resistnce to queous corrosion by oxidizing cids (especilly nitric cid) nd slts, nd to sulfidtion t high-tempertures. In ddition to its corrosion resistnce, lloy 69 hs high strength, good metllurgicl stbility nd fvorble fbriction chrcteristics. nickel-chromium-luminum lloy offering the best resistnce to metl dusting of ny vilble conventionl lloy. lloy 693 lso offers exceptionl resistnce to oxidtion nd crburiztion t tempertures up to 21 F (115 C) with excursions to even higher tempertures.
