Το συγκεκριμένο ερευνητικό πρόγραμμα έχει ως σκοπό να αναπτύξει μια μεθοδολογία για την προσδιορισμό και χαρακτηρισμό των τοπίων της Κύπρου και της οικολογικής τους αξίας. Η πλήρωση της θέσης θα γίνει με συμβόλαιο 12μηνης διάρκειας, με δυνατότητα ανανέωσης. ΑΠΑΙΤΟΥΜΕΝΑ ΠΡΟΣΟΝΤΑ; 1. Πτυχιακό και Μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο σπουδών στην δασολογία, βιολογία, επιστήμη περιβάλλοντος ή σε συναφές γνωστικό αντικείμενο 2. Πολύ καλή γνώση της Ελληνικής και της Αγγλικής γλώσσας. 3. Πολύ καλή γνώση στη χρήση λογισμικού Συστημάτων Γεωγραφικών Πληροφοριών & Τηλεπισκόπησης (ArcGIS, ENVI, ERDAS, e-cognition). 4. Ερευνητική Εμπειρία στην οικολογία τοπίου (Συμμετοχή σε ερευνητικά προγράμματα). ΠΛΕΟΝΕΚΤΗΜΑΤΑ 1. Η κατοχή μεταπτυχιακού τίτλου διδακτορικού επιπέδου στην Οικολογία Τοπίου 2. Δημοσιεύσεις σε διεθνή επιστημονικά περιοδικά και συνέδρια 3. Εμπειρία στην κατασκευή ιστοσελίδας, προγραμματισμό σε Visual Basic και γνώση των λογισμικών FRAGSTATS, Patch Anaiyst, VLate. ΑΠΟΛΑΒΕΣ: Το ύψος των μηνιαίων ακαθάριστων απολαβών του υποψηφίου δεν μπορεί να είναι μεγαλύτερο από 1,600 (μηνιαίως, ακαθάριστο) εκτός από κατόχους διδακτορικού, όπως καθορίζεται με απόφαση της Διοικούσας Επιτροπής (ΔΕ) του Ανοικτού Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου. THE JOB The Guidance Officer will matnly work on providing scientifically correct, up-to-date guidance to the stakeholder communities, in particular to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The job holder will contribute to analysing feed-back from guidance users, including ECHA staff, in order to identify issues that require amending existing or developing new guidance or guidance tools. He/she wili contribute to the management of the process of guidance update and the consultation of all relevant stakeholders, according to established procedures. The main areas of work are: * Drafting guidance documents and/or coordinating their drafting; - Developing and implementing the Procedures and Working Instructions on guidance management (update, revision, amendment, new guidance), including the Procedure for ECHA's stakeholder consultation process; - Deveioping and implementing appropriate ways to deal with identified issues effectively and efficiently while involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure general agreement of the amended or new guidance; * Contributing to analysing the feedback on guidance coming from users (industry, Members State Competent Authorities - MSCA, ECHA), and study intensively the available guidance documents with a view to identify issues, including inconsistencies or translation errors, which require action by ECHA; * Offering second level helpdesk support to ECHA helpdesk, in particular on scientific technical issues as covered by the available or forthcoming guidance and contributing to the development and drafting of FAQs; * Assisting in identifying issues that are not covered by guidance and require new interpretation of the Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicais (REACH); * Contributing to the organisation of stakeholder consultation working groups for the revision / update / amendment of guidance; interacting with other units of ECHA with a view to develop an in-depth understanding of their work and in particular of practical use of guidance documents and its tools; Co-operating with the guidance's users within ECHA when developing new, or amending existing guidance; Following-up, and provide input to Committee and other meetings in areas of his/her responsibility; Contributing to training needs assessment and development of appropriate tools and materials; Representing the ECHA in meetings and conferences with stakeholders, the Commission, other agencies and any other organisation relevant for the mission of ECHA. Establishing and maintaining contact with persons representing ECHA stakeholders; Contributing to personnel selection procedures at Agency level; Handling external requests for information relevant to the work of the Unit, including requests from the European institutions, international bodies, Member States and the general public; Performing other duties as required. 2.
