3 Πτήση στο φως Μία ποιητική του φωτός. Του δικού μου φωτός. Του εντός και του πέραν. Πνεύμα πνοή έμπνευση. Η παρθενική μου πτήση με μια εξομολόγηση από το ασυνείδητο, ενός κλαρίνου μόνο, μέσα από μια διήγηση επτά ιστοριών που ειπώθηκαν νομίζω χωρίς κόμπο, όπως λέμε με μιαν ανάσα. Δίχως φραγμούς μορφής, φόρμας, ύφους. ένα ταξίδι σαν μια πτήση στο φως, χωρίς προσχέδιο και σταθερές. Στο ταξίδι δάσκαλός μου ήταν η σιωπή, ο ψίθυρος και η παύση. Επίσης όλες οι διαθλάσεις, οι αντανακλάσεις, οι χρωματισμοί και οι ιριδισμοί του φωτός όπως τους γεύτηκα και τους αισθάνθηκα ή τους έπλασα. Η Ωκεανία των παιδικών μου χρόνων, οι ορίζοντες που είδα που αντίκρισα ή φαντάστηκα. Από ψηλά όταν τα σύννεφα είναι χαμηλότερα από σένα και ο αέρας ανάλαφρος και αραιός. Εκεί που tη νύχτα ο γαλαξίας χαμηλώνει ο άνεμος αντάρτης και τα αστέρια ποταμός. Όλα διάφανα, διαπερατά με θάμβος και σάρκα γλυκιά. Εκεί που γίνεσαι ανάλαφρος, διαπερατός κι εσύ, αληθινός, χωμάτινος.

4 Εκεί που η διάφανη σιωπή σου μαθαίνει τη μουσική και τα πάντα είναι ευγενικά, ταπεινά και άγρια μαζί. Τίποτα επίπλαστο και ψεύτικο δεν ηχεί εκεί. Πνίγεται. Μόνο ό,τι έχει πνοή -πνεύμα δηλαδή- όπως μία φλογέρα, ένα κλαρίνο ή ένα σουραύλι και κάθε τι μοναδικό που είναι ο εαυτός του. Εκεί ο αέρας είναι ο μουσικοπαιδαγωγός σου και η σιωπή η αρμονία σου. Αυτή τη μυρωδιά του φωτός και της πνοής από ψηλά, προσπαθεί να γευτεί το μοναχικό κλαρίνο μου, αυτή την αλήθεια κουβαλάει και παλεύει να χρωματίσει και να σμιλέψει με την πίστη ότι τα εντός και τα πέραν επικοινωνούν, ο έξω κόσμος και ο μέσα μας λειτουργούν ο ένας για τον άλλον, και είναι ο ένας έκφραση του άλλου. Ας μου συγχωρεθεί λοιπόν όποια κηλίδα και ας χρεωθεί στην κοινή προσφορά όποια φωταψία δική μου ή ιριδισμός. Ευχαριστώ από καρδιάς όλους τους σπουδαίους συνθέτες, μουσικούς και ενορχηστρωτές ασχολήθηκαν με εμένα και το παίξιμό μου ομολογώ τόσο δημιουργικά και με ακρίβεια. 5 Flight on Light The poetry of light. My light - inside and beyond. Spirit. Breath. Inspiration. I flew the uncharted territories of the unconscious, one clarinet narrating seven stories, each in a continuous stream - in one breath. Not limited by the barriers of pattern, form or style, this journey was a flight on light, with no predetermined or conventional course. My teachers were whispers, lulls and silence, as were the diffractions, reflections, colourations, and luminance of light, which I tasted, created, touched and was touched by. In the ocean of my childhood I imagined horizons from above, with clouds below and the air light and sparse. Here, at night, the galaxy lowers, the wind comes close, and the stars are like an endless river. All is translucent, penetrated by splendour and sweet flesh, where we become light, open and real. In that translucent silence, everything is delightful and humble, but wild at the same time. Nothing artificial or false echoes there; it drowns. Only that which has breath has spirit survives, like a flute, a clarinet, a fife, or whatever is uniquely itself. Here, the wind is your teacher, and silence is harmony. This fragrance of light, this breath from beyond, this is what my lonely clarinet seeks to taste. This is the truth it carries, that it struggles to colour and sculpt, out of the belief that everything related to the inner world and to the beyond communicates, that the worlds outside and inside us function for each other, that each is an expression of the other. So may my blemishes be forgiven, and may any flood of light or iridescence that radiates here be considered a shared offering. From my heart, I thank all the important composers, musicians and sonic artists who, I acknowledge, have complimented my performances with creativity and precision.
