It should not be translated. γάρ (postpositive) = for (causal) δέ (postpositive) = ʺandʺ or ʺbut,ʺ depending on the context. δή (postpositive) = indeed, certainly, in fact καί...καί = both... and µέν... δέ = when used as a pair of correlatives, they may connect or contrast two elements.
