9 Quick Start Guide a) onnect display: use a quality HMI cable to connect to your HMI TV or Monitor. b) onnect network: use a standard RJ LN cable to connect your wired network (optional) c) onnect wireless antenna (sold separately). This option is only available on Wandboard dual) d) onnect a standard US mouse or keyboard (Storage) e) Insert the micros (orange micros card slot) f) Power up: Plug in a power supply ( V at is recommended) (for OS) Read the last pages of this document to create a micros card containing the Operating System. 10 Preparing the bootable micros card for your Wandboard The micros card that is created below will contain the Wandboard operating system. large number of demo runtime images are available.. Procedures to get you started a) ownload your preferred Wandboard runtime image b) Extract the file that you just downloaded Right click on the file and choose Extract all. The extracted files will contain a file ending in.img. Instructions for Linux users This paragraph explains how to create a S card using Linux desktop or notebook. The S card can be made using a standard terminal. # dd if=*.img of=/dev/sdd bs=m replace *.img with the full name of the S card image and replace /dev/sdd with your S card device".. Instructions for Windows users This paragraph explains how to create a S card using Windows desktop or notebook. Note: the.img file can only be written to your micros card by special disk imaging software. This disk imaging software is included in the downloads at wandboard.org or can be downloaded according the instructions in paragraph... ownload the WiniskImager software a) ownload windiskimager-binary.zip from: b) Right click on the file and choose Extract all. c) This will create a new folder called windiskimager-binary Page 0 of
