1 The Echellograms and Response Functions from zj to M bands Calculated by Echelle Simulator V0.9 for IRCS Tae-Soo Pyo pyo@subaru.naoj.org Subaru Telescope National Astronomical Observatory of Japan April
2 This report represents echelle spectral formats (echellograms) and response functions of Infrared Camera and Spectrograph (IRCS) from zj to M bands. The response function of each setting in this report includes the transmittance of atmosphere, blaze functions of echelle and cross-disperser gratings, and transmittance of the filter. The infrared spectral lines shown on echellograms and response functions are as follows: (a) OH lines (Steed & Baker, 1979) (b) Ar lines (Rao, Humphreys, & Rank, 1966) (c) [Fe ii] lines (Nussbaumer & Storey, 1988) (d) Atomic Hydrogen lines (Hummer & Storey, 1987) (e) Molecular Hydrogen lines (UKIRT Homepage) 1 (f) He I and He II lines (UKIRT Homepage) (g) 12 C 16 O and 13 C 16 O bandheads (UKIRT Homepage) (h) 12 C 16 O and 13 C 16 O fundamental (1-0) band lines µm (UKIRT Homepage) Each line group is marked with different color as indicated at lower-left corner of each echellogram. Each value in Intensity column of tables in this report indicates as follows: (a) Intensities in kr for OH lines (Steed & Baker, 1979) (b) Einstein coefficients for [Fe II] lines (Nussbaumer & Storey, 1988) (c) Relative intensities of I(line)/I(Hβ) for atomic Hydrogen lines(hummer & Storey, 1987) (d) Relative intensities of I(line)/I(1-0S(1)) at LTE (T=4000 K) for H 2 lines (UKIRT homepage) The accuracies of X and Y columns are about ±10 pixels The current version of echelle simulator calculates echellograms without correction of optical abbretions. We will correct the optical abbretions for the higher fitting accuracies in the next version. 2
