Πήραμε τη Speed Triple, την πρώτη και καλύτερη streetfighter στον κόσμο με το 'θυμωμένο' στυλ που τραβάει τα βλέματα και τον τρικύλινδρο κινητήρα των 135 ίππων. Η στάνταρ Speed Triple ποτέ δεν προσπάθησε να κρύψει αυτό που ήταν, μια σπορ μοτοσικλέτα αιχμής με απόδοση διαμορφωμένη για το δρόμο. Η έκδοση R όμως όχι μόνο δεν το κρύβει, αλλά το κραυγάζει κιόλας. ΚΙΝΗΤΉΡΑΣ ΕΠΙΔΟΣΕΙΣ Ο κινητήρας είναι ο ίδιος μυώδης 1050κ.εκ. που εξοπλίζει τη Speed Triple και προσφέρει μια τεράστια δύναμη. Όπως όμως κάθε πραγματικός αναβάτης ξέρει, το κλειδί για την απόδοση σε πραγματικές συνθήκες είναι η ευρεία εξάπλωση της ροπής και η άμεση ανταπόκριση στο γκάζι. Οι 135 ίπποι δίνουν εξαιρετική απόδοση ψηλά αρκετή για να σε ικανοποιήσουν στην πίστα. Έπειτα, υπάρχουν τα 111Nm ροπής που εξασφαλίζουν άπλετη δύναμη χαμηλά ανεξάρτητα από τη σχέση του κιβωτίου, η οποία αποδίδεται με αβίαστο, ομαλό τρόπο. Στο πιρούνι NIX30 και το αμορτισέρ TTX36, οι λειτουργίες απόσβεσης επαναφοράς και συμπίεσης είναι εντελώς ξεχωριστές, δίνοντάς σου ακριβέστερο έλεγχο και μεγάλη γκάμα ρυθμίσεων να επιλέξεις. ΠΛΑΙΣΙΟ Το πλαίσιο μοιάζει με το αναγνωρίσιμο σωληνωτό διπλής δοκού που φοράνε οι Speed Triple. Η τωρινή έκδοση όμως ανανεώθηκε το 2011 και τώρα χρησιμοποιείται ο κινητήρας ως σημαντικό κομμάτι, κάτι που το καθιστά ισχυρότερο και ελαφρύτερο για πιο συγκεντρωμένη αίσθηση. ΜΟΝΟΜΠΡΑΤΣΟ ΨΑΛΙΔΙ Το μονόμπρατσο ψαλίδι είναι αλουμινένιο και διαθέτει έκκεντρο ρυθμιστή αλυσίδας ώστε ο πίσω τροχός να είναι σε ευθεία με τον εμπρός για επικεντρωμένη και ακριβή συμπεριφορά. Το ψαλίδι είναι εξαιρετικά στιβαρό, με αποτέλεσμα ένα αντίστοιχα υπέρ-στιβαρό σύνολο κατάλληλο ακόμη και για τη σκληρότερη χρήση, είτε σε πίστα είτε σε δρόμο. ΘΕΣΗ ΟΔΗΓΗΣΗΣ Η Speed Triple R είναι γνήσια σπορ μοτοσυκλέτα με πλεονέκτημα στις πραγματικές συνθήκες. Τοποθετήσαμε λοιπόν το τιμόνι χαμηλά, τα μαρσπιέ πίσω και πίσω και η σέλα βαθιά ώστε να σε κρατάει στη θέση σου στη γρήγορη οδήγηση αλλά να σου επιτρέπει και να βγαίνεις από τη μοτοσυκλέτα. Υπάρχει εμπροσθοβαρής κατανομή, ώστε να νιώθεις ακριβώς τι κάνουν το πιρούνι και το λάστιχο και να μπορείς να εξερευνήσεις τα όρια στριψίματος.
