Έλαβε το δίπλωµα του Μηχανικού Η/Υ και Πληροφορικής (2003) και το Μεταπτυχιακό ίπλωµα Ειδίκευσης στην Επιστήµη και Τεχνολογία των Υπολογιστών (2006) από το τµήµα Μηχανικών Η/Υ και Πληροφορικής του Πανεπιστηµίου Πατρών. Σήµερα είναι Υποψήφιος ιδάκτορας στο Εργαστήριο Αναγνώρισης Προτύπων του τµήµατος Μηχανικών Η/Υ και Πληροφορικής, Πανεπιστήµιο Πατρών. Παράλληλα εργάζεται ως ερευνητικός συνεργάτης στο Ινστιτούτο Βιοµηχανικών Συστηµάτων (ΙΝ.ΒΙ.Σ.) και διδάσκει ως εργαστηριακός συνεργάτης στο τµήµα Εφαρµογών Πληροφορικής στη ιοίκηση και στην Οικονοµία του Τ.Ε.Ι. Μεσολογγίου. Η έρευνα του σχετίζεται µε τη χρήση τεχνικών Υπολογιστικής Νοηµοσύνης, Τεχνητής Νοηµοσύνης και Σηµασιολογικής Αναπαράστασης Γνώσης για την ανάπτυξη έξυπνων συστηµάτων στους τοµείς της ολοκλήρωσης επιχειρήσεων, αυτοµατισµού βιοµηχανιών, ηλεκτρονικής εκπαίδευσης, ψηφιοποίησης της πολιτιστικής κληρονοµίας και ανάκτησης πληροφορίας και περιεχοµένου στο διαδίκτυο.
