A shuttle vec2 to r (PH T 3101) w as used as an exp ression vecto r in the acrystalliferous strain B tk BE 20. T he purified p lasm id DNA are comp letely digested w ith P stl restriction enzym e and ligated w ith T 4 ligase. T he recom binant p lasm id w as transfered into B tk BE 20 by electropo ration. SD S2PA GE and scanning electron m icro scopy show ed that the 2endo toxin gene w ere ex2 p ressed in h igh level in B tk BE 20. T he recom binant strain show ed h igher toxicity than the dono r strain S1824 to P rod enia litu ra larvae.
