2 : 29 concen trated b ro th s w as studied at 30 and ro tational speed ranging from 75 to 750 rgm in. A s the resu lts confirm ed, they w ere p seudop lastic flu id, the apparen t visco sities decreased w ith the increase of shear rate and the p seudop lasticity increased w ith the increm en t of concen tration. A s to the concen trated b ro th s, the apparen t visco sities decreased w ith the increase of tem peratu re o r reduction of concen tration, and the effect of tem peratu re on their apparen t visco sities w as fu rther described by A rrhenu is m odel. T he activation energy (Ea) had no obviou s variation in differen t concen tration s and the effect of concen tration on apparen t visco sity w as m o re no ticeab le than that of tem peratu re. M o reover a m odel fo r describ ing the com b ined effects of tem peratu re and concen tration on the apparen t visco sity w as given, w h ich cou ld be u sed to p redict apparen t visco sity of the concen trated b ro th of B acillus thu ring iensis at differen t tem peratu res and concen tration s in the p rocess of m icrofiltration.
