1.2 Accensione / Spegnimento Per accendere lo strumento posizionare l interruttore di accensione su I. Per spegnere lo strumento posizionare l interruttore di accensione su 0. Spegnere lo strumento e metterlo sotto carica non appena compare il messaggio di batteria scarica. 1.3 Alimentazione L adattatore da 12 V / 1,5 A permette l alimentazione dello strumento e la contestuale carica della batteria. Si usa una batteria agli ioni di litio da 8,4 V / 3000 mah. Il tempo di carica è di 6 ore quando l adattatore è collegato alla rete elettrica o alla presa accendisigari dell automobile. Quando la carica è completa, la batteria dura più di 5 ore (varia a seconda della potenza assorbita dall antenna esterna). N.B. La prima volta si consiglia di caricare la batteria per almeno 8 ore. 2. Menu Premere il tasto MENU per accedere al menu principale, utilizzare i tasti freccia per spostare il cursore e premere il tasto OK per accedere ai sottomenu. 2.1 DVB-S Scegliere DVB-S e premere OK per accedere al sistema DVB-S. 6

2.1.1 Ricerca rapida Premere OK per accedere al sottomenu. 7

2.1.1.1 Nome satellitare Scegliere il nome satellitare del segnale ricevuto. 2.1.1.2 Tipo di LNB Scegliere il tipo di convertitore LNB. 2.1.1.3 LNB bassa frequenza / alta frequenza Usare il tastierino numerico per immettere la frequenza del convertitore LNB. 2.1.1.4 Frequenza Usare il tastierino numerico per immettere la frequenza del segnale. 2.1.1.5 Velocità di simbolo Usare il tastierino numerico per immettere la velocità di simbolo. 2.1.1.6 Polarizzazione Scegliere la modalità di polarizzazione (OFF/13V/18V). 2.1.1.7 Funzione SCR Dal menu selezionare Ricerca rapida ; per Tipo di LNB scegliere Unicable. Passare alla pagina successiva e scegliere il Canale a cui è collegato l SCR LNB. A questo punto completare l impostazione dell SCR. In TP, è possibile scegliere o immettere i dati del satellite in attesa del segnale. 8

2.1.1.8 Longitudine Utilizzare il tastierino numerico per immettere la Longitudine del satellite. 2.1.1.9 Impostare i parametri e premere il tasto OK per accedere al sottomenu, quindi regolare il piatto sulla base dei parametri di interfaccia. 9

2.1.1.10 Scansiona TP Effettua una scansione di tutti i programmi alla frequenza corrente, memorizzandoli automaticamente e ritornando al menu precedente. 2.1.1.11 Scansiona tutti Effettua una scansione di tutti i programmi di tutti i canali, memorizzandoli automaticamente e ritornando al menu precedente. 2.1.1.12 Intensità/qualità Utilizzare i tasti e scegliere S/Q/#, premere il tasto OK per accedere al sottomenu e orientare il piatto nella direzione ottimale. 10

2.1.2.1 Gestore satellite Premere il tasto OK per accedere al sottomenu e impostare lo stato del piatto. 2.1.2.1.1 Tipo di switch Utilizzare i tasti per scegliere il Tipo di switch (Nessuno, DisEqC1.0/1.1, DisEqC 1.2/ USALS) 1) DiSEqC 1.0/1.1 Utilizzare i tasti per scegliere LNB1/LNB2/LNB3/LNB4 11

2.2.2 Controllo frequenza 2.2.2.1 Sposta Premere i tasti per spostare il cursore. 2.2.2.2 Seleziona Premere i tasti per localizzare il canale e spuntare la casella per selezionarla. 2.2.2.3 Premere il tasto OK per visualizzare il display multicanale. Ciascuna schermata visualizza i segnali di cinque canali, premere per cambiare pagina. 19

2.3 Funzioni multimediali Per le funzioni multimediali, la memoria esterna va inserita nella porta USB. Diversamente, comparirà il messaggio Dispositivo non supportato. 20

2.3.1 Foto Questa funzione permette di visualizzare in anteprima immagini in formato JPG e di effettuare operazioni seguendo le istruzioni fornite. 2.3.2 Musica Permette di riprodurre musica in formato MP3 e di effettuare operazioni seguendo le istruzioni fornite. 21

2.4 Impostazioni di sistema Premere OK per accedere al sottomenu 22

2.4.1 Lingua OSD Impostare la lingua per la visualizzazione delle informazioni OSD 2.4.2 Retroilluminazione tastiera Selettore per l impostazione della durata della retroilluminazione della tastiera (OFF, 5/10/20 secondi). 2.4.3 Aggiornamento software Menu per aggiornare il software o i dati tramite la porta USB, memorizzare il file di aggiornamento nella memoria esterna, inserirlo nella porta USB ed accedere al menu di aggiornamento. Selezionando il file, si ritornerà immediatamente al menu precedente. 23

2.4.4 Impostazioni predefinite Premere il tasto OK per ripristinare le impostazioni di fabbrica. 2.4.5 GMT Impostare il parametro GMT. 2.5 Spettro S Premere il tasto OK ed immettere il parametro spettro S in menu.parameter 24

2.5.1 La frequenza è pari alla differenza tra la frequenza di downstream e la frequenza locale mentre la banda va da 950 a 2150 MHz. Impostare i parametri sulla base delle specifiche e premere il tasto OK per generare lo spettro. 25

2.5.2 Quando lo spettro viene visualizzato sullo schermo, premere il tasto F1 per cambiare la larghezza di banda e premere F2 per cambiare la polarità. Premere F3 per scegliere 22K ON/OFF. 2.5.3 Scegliere la frequenza iniziale della scansione e premere il tasto F4 quindi il tasto OK. 2.5.4 Premere i tasti per spostare il cursore alla frequenza finale della scansione. 26

2.5.5 Premere i tasti OK ed F4 per immettere la banda di frequenze scelta per la scansione dei programmi. Al termine della scansione, la schermata si chiude automaticamente. 27

2.6 Spettro T Premere il tasto OK ed accedere allo spettro DVB-T. Scegliere i dati preimpostati (paese, canale, banda, alimentazione antenna) e premere OK per accedere all interfaccia di gestione dello spettro. 28

2.6.1 Premere F1, scegliere la scansione completa della banda DVB-T oppure la scansione del canale nazionale corrente. 2.6.2 Premere F2 per visualizzare un ingrandimento dello spettro su una banda di 50 Mhz. 29

2.6.3 Premere F3 per bloccare la frequenza scelta e visualizzare i dati relativi allo spettro. 30

2.7 Tasti di scelta rapida 2.7.1 Premere il tasto OK per accedere al sottomenu quando c è un programma in onda ed effettuare le operazioni seguendo le istruzioni. 2.7.2 Premere il tasto F1 per accedere alla lista dei programmi TV. 2.7.3 Premere il tasto F2 per accedere al sottomenu quando c è un programma in onda ed effettuare le operazioni seguendo le istruzioni. 31

4. Norme e raccomandazioni relative all uso della batteria 4.1 Avvertenze La macchina utilizza batterie agli ioni di litio e batterie agli idruri di nichel metallico, pertanto si raccomanda di non lavorare a temperature elevate o a pressioni elevate. Le seguenti condizioni possono generare reazioni chimiche indesiderate che possono provocare il surriscaldamento della batteria, l emissione di fumo, incendi e/o esplosioni. 1) gettare la batteria nel fuoco o sottoporla a calore; 2) provocare fori nella batteria utilizzando chiodi o altri oggetti appuntiti, colpirla con un martello oppure schiacciarla; 3) immergere la batteria in acqua o collegare i poli positivo (+) e negativo (-) con oggetti metallici come collane, fermagli ecc. 4.2 Note La batteria si ricarica esclusivamente tramite il caricatore fornito o comunque indicato dal costruttore della macchina. Caricare la batteria per almeno 5 ore, la prima volta, e successivamente non superare le 12 ore di carica. Tenere lo strumento spento quando si ricarica la batteria. Conservare la batteria a una temperatura compresa tra 0 e 40. Se la batteria viene tenuta inutilizzata per lunghi periodi, effettuare almeno una carica ogni 15 giorni in modo da impedirne una scarica eccessiva. La batteria è un articolo di consumo. 4.3 Gestione e smaltimento Un collegamento errato della batteria può provocare esplosioni. In caso di sostituzione, utilizzare comunque una batteria fornita dal costruttore. Non bruciare la batteria e non gettarla nella spazzatura. Contattare l azienda di smaltimento rifiuti e informarsi del più vicino centro di raccolta per batterie esauste. 35

1.2 Turn On / Turn Off To turn on the instrument, turn the power switch to I. To turn off the instrument, turn the power switch to 0. When the low battery message appears, immediately turn off the instrument and charge it. 1.3 Power The 12 V / 1.5 A adapter allows the instrument to be powered while the battery is charging. The instrument uses an 8.4 V / 3000 mah lithium ion battery. The charge time is about 6 hours when the adapter is plugged into the electric mains or a car cigarette lighter. When completely charged, the battery lasts more than 5 hours (this varies according to the power absorbed by the external antenna). NOTE. We recommend charging the battery for at least 8 hours the first time. 2. Menu Press the MENU key to enter the main menu. Use the arrow keys to move the cursor and press the OK key to enter the submenus. 2.1 DVB-S Select DVB-S and press OK to enter the DVB-S system. 40

2.1.1.1 Satellite Name Select the satellite name for the signal received. 2.1.1.2 LNB Type Select the type of LNB converter 2.1.1.3 Low frequency / High frequency LNB Use the numerical keypad to enter the frequency of the LNB converter. 2.1.1.4 Frequency Use the numerical keypad to enter the frequency of the signal. 2.1.1.5 Symbol Rate Use the keypad to enter the symbol rate 2.1.1.6 Polarity Select the polarity mode (OFF/13V/18V) 2.1.1.7 SCR Function Select Quick Search from the menu; select Unicable for the LNB Type. Go to the next page and select the channel where the SCR LNB is connected. At this point, finish setting up the SCR. In TP you can select or enter the data for the satellite awaiting the signal. 42

2.4.4 Factory Settings Press the OK key to restore the factory settings. 2.4.5 GMT Set the GMT parameter. 2.5 S Spectrum Press the OK key and enter the S Spectrum parameter in the parameter menu. 58

2.5.1 The frequency is equal to the difference between the downstream frequency and the local frequency while the band changes from 950 to 2150 MHz. Set-up the parameters based on the specifications and press the OK key to generate the spectrum. 59

2.5.2 When the spectrum is displayed on the screen, press the F1 key to change the band width and press F2 to change the polarity. Press F3 to select 22K ON/OFF. 2.5.3 Select the initial scan frequency and press the F4 key and then the OK key. 60

2.5.4 Press the keys to move the cursor to the end frequency for the scan. 2.5.5 Press the OK and F4 keys then enter the frequency band selected for the program scan. At the end of the scan, the screen closes automatically. 61

2.6 T Spectrum Press the OK key and access the DVB-T spectrum. Select the preset data (country, channel, band, antenna power) and press OK to access the spectrum management interface. 62

4. Standards and Recommendations for Battery Use 4.1 Warnings This instrument uses lithium ion batteries and nickel-metal hydride batteries; for this reason we recommend not working at high temperatures or high pressures. The following conditions can generate undesirable chemical reactions which can cause the battery to overheat, the emission of fumes, fire and/or explosion: 1) Throwing the battery into a fire or heating it 2) Making holes in the battery using nails or other sharp objects, hitting it with a hammer, or crushing it 3) Immersing the battery in water or connecting the positive (+) and negative (-) with metal objects such as necklaces, paper clips, etc. 4.2 Notes The battery can only be recharged using the battery charger provided or indicated by the manufacturer. Charge the battery for at least 5 hours the first time; thereafter to not recharge for more than 12 hours. Keep the instrument turned off when recharging the battery. Store the battery at a temperature between 0 C and 40 C. If the battery is not used for long periods of time, charge at least once every 15 days to prevent excessive discharge. The battery is a consumable part. 4.3 Handling and Disposal Improper connection of the battery can cause an explosion. When replacing, always use a battery supplied by the manufacturer. Do not burn the battery or throw it away. Contact a waste management company and determine where the nearest collection center is for used batteries. 69

1.2 Mise sous tension / Arrêt Pour allumer l appareil positionner l interrupteur de mise sous tension sur I. Pour éteindre l appareil positionner l interrupteur de mise sous tension sur 0. Éteindre l appareil et le charger dès que le message de batterie déchargée s affiche. 1.3 Alimentation L adaptateur de 12 V / 1,5 A permet l alimentation de l appareil et la charge simultanée de la batterie. Une batterie au Lithium-Ion de 8,4 V/ 3000 mah est utilisée. Le temps de charge est de 6 heures lorsque l adaptateur est branché au réseau électrique ou à la prise allume-cigare de votre voiture. Une fois la charge complétée, la batterie dure plus de 5 heures (la durée varie selon la puissance absorbée par l antenne extérieure). N.B. la première fois on vous conseille de charges la batterie au moins pendant 8 heures. 2. Menu Presser la touche MENU pour accéder au menu principal, utiliser les touches flèche pour déplacer le curseur et presser la touche OK pour accéder aux sous-menus. 2.1 DVB-S Choisir DVB-S et appuyer sur OK pour accéder au Système DVB-S. 74

Passer à la pagina suivante et choisir le Canal où est branché le lscr LNB. Maintenant compléter la configuration du SCR. En TP, il est possible de choisir ou saisir les données du satellitaire en attente du signal. 76
