Tone 3 Divine faith Burning with Orthodoxy of faith, you quenched the error of false teaching and destroyed the godless worship of idols. Sacrificed as a burnt offering to God, you bring joy to the ends of the earth through your miracles. O glorious martyr, pray to Christ our God that we may receive great mercy. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. The Lord Who strengthened you in your sufferings, has granted you to all the inhabited earth as a divine gift of salvation. Therefore, Good One, grant both to those who have prepared this offering, as well as to those who keep this memorial, every petition that is unto salvation, and count them worthy of enjoying Your eternal good things; through the prayers of our all-pure Lady, the Theotokos and ever-virgin Mary, of Saint Theodore whose memory we celebrate, and of all Your Saints. For You are the One Who blesses and sanctifies all things, Christ our God, and to You we send up glory, together with Your Father Who is without beginning and Your all-holy, good and life-creating Spirit, now and ever and to the ages of ages.
