T hese samp les w ere iden tified by b io logical reaction s of differen t ho st p lan ts and DA S2EL ISA. T he resu lts show ed that pepper in Shaanx i p rovince w ere infected w ith TM V, CM V, T EV, PV Y and BBW V, and the mo st p redom i2 nan t viru ses w ere CM V and TM V, the p ropo rtion being 60. 31% and 30. 94% respectively. Inh ib iting effect of several p lan t viru s inh ib ito rs again st CM V and TM V w ere tested in labo rato ry. TM V w as inocu lated w ith N icotiana g lu tinosa, CM V w ith Chenop od ium am a ran ticola, then these p lan t viru s inh ib ito rs w ere sm eared over the half leaf befo re inocu lation and 24 hou rs after inocu lation. T he resu lts show ed that the ef2 ficacy of 3. 85% B ilken viru sicide w as the best to TM V and CM V w hen dilu ted 500 tim es either befo re o r after inocu lation. A nd the con tro l effect befo re inocu lation w as better than that after inocu lation.
