Compositions written for this rare and unusual combination of musical instruments will be performed by Andreas Giannakouras (trompet), Nikos Koukouvinos (trombone) and Plotinos Micromatis (piano).
Among the works of T. Hansen, G.P Teemann, L. E Larsson, Boris Blacher and others, it will be also performed a composition by the young Cypriot composer, Apollonas Klamenios (2003), that it was written especially for this recital. Andreas Giannakouras (Trompet) Andreas Giannakouras was born n 1981 in Patras, Greece. At the age of ten he started taking trumpet lessons at the Municipal Conservatory of Patras with Zafiris Zafiropoulos. He continued his trumpet lessons with Panagootis Kesaris, with whom he obtained the diploma of Philippine Nakas Conservatory in Athens. He is graduate of the Music Gymnasium and lyceum of Patras. At the age of fifteen He started attending various trumpet masterclasses in Greece and abroad with distinguished trumpet professors such as No Nilsson, Frits Damrow, Allen Vizzutti, Timofei Dokschitzer, James Thompson and Hand Gansch. At the age of
nineteen he enrolled at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Austria, where he studied for five years with trumpet professor Stanko Arnold. Since January 2004 he holds the position of sub-principal trumpet at the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra with such he had performed as soloist in 2014.Since 2007 he is trumpet professor at the Music Schools of Cyprus. ίκος Κοσκοσ ίνος (Τρομπόνι) Γελλήζεθε ζηελ Ειιάδα ην 1. Nikos Koukouvinos (Trombone) Nikos Koukouvinos (born February 10, 1987 in Volos, Greece) is a Trombonist and Educator. Koukouvinos received a BMus (Trombone Performance) from ARTE Music Academy and Diploma of Virtuosity with "Distinction" from State Conservatory of Zografou in Athens. As an Educator, Koukouvinos works as a trombone instructor at the ARTE Music Academy, at the Music Schools of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus and at the Limassol Municipality Philharmonic Band, with whom he has repeatedly appeared as a soloist. He is Principal Trombonist of the Cyprus Philharmonic Orchestra. He is apart time member of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra and he has performed in many festivals and recorded several albums. He has collaborated with numerous orchestras such as the Volos Symphony Orchestra, the Larissa Symphony Orchestra, the Athens Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Conservatorium Big Band.

Plotinos Micromatis (Piano) Born in Cyprus, Plotinos has been performing since the age of eight as well as recording for Cyprus national radio and television. His first professional engagement was a recital with works by Telemann, Beethoven, Chopin and Schumann, which he gave when he was fifteen years o. I 1 e t e Ρ ix e etiti, e i ic i, i 1988, following his win at the national competition, he represented Cyprus at the 4th Eurovision Competition for Young Musicians which was held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
After he completed his studies with Pitsa Spyridaki in Cyprus, he moved to London in e t t it i t t e e e ic te it Κ Bingham and Simon Young at the University of London (Trinity College of Music). He holds performance diplomas of the Royal College of Music, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, as well as a Master of Music degree from the University of London. Plotinos has a wide repertoire ranging from the pre-baroque to the modern era, and has given premières of works by composers such as Savvas Savva and Filimon Lamprou and regularly includes their compositions in his programmes. e e t e i ic i,, ti i eq t e e i recitals, chamber music with singers and instrumentalists and as soloist with orchestra. He has collaborated with the Greek National Opera, the Thessaloniki Opera and the Greek National Theatre. He has appeared as soloist with the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra, the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Lewis & Clarke University Symphony Orchestra and the Netherlands Radio Symphony Orchestra among others; and under conductors such as Sergiu Comissiona, José Ferreira Lobo, George Skipworth, Stephen Futrell, Panayiotis Panayi, Themis Christodoulou and Ara Vorsganian. Apart from Greece and Cyprus, Plotinos has given concerts in the UK, Russia, Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark.
