Methods 18 VBD patients diagnosed by cranial magnetic resonance angiograph MRA underwent intracranial Doppler examinations and 30 patients with no significant differences in age sex clinical symptoms past history were included as matched control. Results Vs and Vm of VBD patients decreased compared with control group P < 0. 05. PI and RI of VBD group had no significant differences compared with control group P < 0. 05. Spectral shapes of some VBD patients showed blunt peak and low-resistant waveform. Conclusions Hemodynamics of VBD patients changed and TCD can be one of screening and auxiliary diagnosis.
