The duration of taught courses varies between 24 to 26 hours per week. 5
Credit Units (ECTS) Each course has a specific number of credit units. 30 credit units per semester. 240 credit units to acquire the diploma. 6
Lectures The lectures in our department cover the theoretical background of the science of Physical Therapy Attendance is optional. Registration to the lectures: Students register online (www.estudents.gr). Presentation mode: PowerPoint presentations which are then posted online (e-class). Bibliography: Each semester students are required to register within a specific period of time to receive the books of each course. 7
Lectures Evaluation method: 3 examination periods per academic year: Winter semester (Oct.-Jan.), Α-C- Ε-G semesters courses are examined in February. Summer semester (Feb.-May), Β- D-F semesters courses are examined on June. Repeat Examinations (Sept.) 8

Importance of the Clinical Training Clinical training must not be abolished because it is necessary in Greece and abroad to support any clinical specialization as the specialization of the Physical Therapist. Diploma Dissertation Course in the 8 th Semester the grade of which significantly affects the general grade of the diploma (20 ECTS). The dissertation is prepared in the form of a book and presented in PowerPoint to a Professors committee. The student chooses the topic from a variety of topics set by Professors, and/or proposed by himself. Scope of dissertation: Familiarization with the research methodology Methodology of presenting scientifically documented text 19
Ethical Conduct of Diploma Dissertation It is beneficial for students to attend this part of evaluation. Motivation for the student who conducts the dissertation to study a related topic in his/hers post-graduate studies. 20
Practical Training Course of the 8 th semester. Not evaluated with a grade, but affects the general performance of the student. Simulates the real work environment better than ever before in the student life. Available jobs are being announced by the Practice Office of T.E.I of Patras. Evaluation: Books of Practice are being distributed to students,in which all the practice tasks in his/hers workplace are explained. 21
