3 General ing Guidance All candidates must receive the same treatment. Examiners must mark the first candidate in exactly the same way as they mark the last. schemes should be applied positively. Candidates must be rewarded for what they have shown they can do rather than penalised for omissions. Examiners should mark according to the mark scheme not according to their perception of where the grade boundaries may lie. There is no ceiling on achievement. All marks on the mark scheme should be used appropriately. All the marks on the mark scheme are designed to be awarded. Examiners should always award full marks if deserved, i.e. if the answer matches the mark scheme. Examiners should also be prepared to award zero marks if the candidate s response is not worthy of credit according to the mark scheme. Where some judgement is required, mark schemes will provide the principles by which marks will be awarded and exemplification may be limited. When examiners are in doubt regarding the application of the mark scheme to a candidate s response, the team leader must be consulted. Crossed out work should be marked UNLESS the candidate has replaced it with an alternative response.

15 A festival Question 8 : Κάθε χρόνο την πρώτη εβδομάδα του Αυγούστου ξεκινά το Φεστιβάλ στο Νεστόριο της Καστοριάς. Πάρε μέρος κι εσύ σε αυτό που ξεκίνησε αυθόρμητα σαν τοπικό φεστιβάλ και εξελίχτηκε σε πανελλαδική συνάντηση νέων. Στις όχθες του ποταμού Αλιάκμονα, σε ένα πανέμορφο τοπίο δίπλα στη φύση, λίγο έξω από το χωριό Νεστόριο της Καστοριάς μαζεύονται νέοι τα τελευταία 37 χρόνια. Το φεστιβάλ διαρκεί πέντε συνολικά μέρες και θα περάσουν από τη σκηνή γνωστοί Έλληνες καλλιτέχνες, αλλά και συγκροτήματα από το εξωτερικό. Για όσους θα μείνουν όλες τις μέρες προσφέρεται και η δυνατότητα κατασκήνωσης. Οι κατασκηνωτές μπορούν να πάρουν μέρος σε παράλληλες εκδηλώσεις, όπως τοξοβολία και τουρνουά μπάσκετ και πινγκ πονγκ. Επίσης το πρωί διοργανώνονται εκδρομές με πεζοπορίες στο βουνό. Η τιμή εισιτηρίου για μια μέρα είναι 18, ενώ για όλες τις μέρες είναι 45. 16 Where I live Question 9 Αγαπητοί ακροατές, μαζί μας σήμερα η Μάρθα, ένα νέο κορίτσι που θα μοιραστεί μαζί μας τις σκέψεις της και τους προβληματισμούς της. Μάρθα, πες μας λίγα λόγια για σένα. Είμαι 18 χρονών και γεννήθηκα σε μια μεγάλη πόλη στη Βόρεια Ελλάδα. Σε ηλικία 12 ετών μετακομίσαμε οικογενειακώς σε μια μικρή επαρχιακή πόλη. Οι γονείς μου είχαν κουραστεί με τη ζωή στη μεγαλούπολη και ήθελαν μια αλλαγή. Αρχικά δε θα μέναμε εκεί μόνιμα, γιατί η δουλειά του πατέρα μου ήταν μόνο για τρια χρόνια. Αλλά τελικά οι γονείς μου ερωτεύτηκαν το μέρος και παρά τις διαμαρτυρίες μου, αποφάσισαν να μείνουμε εκεί για πάντα. Δε λέω, έχει ωραίο κλίμα και οι κάτοικοι είναι πολύ φιλικοί, αλλά δεν έχει πού να διασκεδάσεις. Και το πιο σημαντικό, επαγγελματικά δεν κινείται τίποτα! Και τι σκέφτεσαι να κάνεις; Το καλοκαίρι θα πάω να μείνω με τη θεία μου και θα δουλέψω στο κομμωτήριό της. Αν μου αρέσει, το Σεπτέμβριο θα γραφτώ σε μια σχολή για να μάθω πιο πολλά για την κομμωτική. Αργότερα βλέπουμε... Και οι γονείς σου τι λένε; Να σας πω την αλήθεια, περίμενα ότι θα ήταν αρνητικοί με την ιδέα. Με έκπληξη διαπίστωσα ότι το είχαν σκεφτεί και οι ίδιοι, γιατί καταλαβαίνουν ότι δεν υπάρχουν ευκαιρίες για μένα στο μέρος που ζούμε.
