Βασιλείου Vesperal-Liturgy of St. Basil Η Ανάστασης του Κυρίου The Resurrection Vigil of Our Lord 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. 10:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. PALM SUNDAY On April 24 th we will celebrate Palm Sunday, the entry of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in to Jerusalem. The Ladies of the Philoptochos society will serve lunch at the community hall following the Divine Liturgy. This celebration has become a wonderful tradition. Let s try to keep this tradition alive for our children and grandchildren to celebrate. We will be serving the traditional fish with all the trimmings, salad, scordalia and of course dessert. We will also be serving pasta (makaronia) with tomato sauce for any children who do not eat of fish. Please stay and all together as a big family celebrate this special day. Give thanks to God for all the things we enjoy and ask him to forgive us and to help us through the Holy week, so that all of us together can celebrate his glorious resurrection (Anastasi). There will be no tickets sold, however we will pass a tray so that everyone can help the work of the Philoptochos in their own way. Hope to see you all there! Next Philoptochos meeting will be on: Monday May 16 th 2015 at 7:30 p.m. at the Community Hall (Please note there will be no meeting in April) Funeral The servant of God Robert Gardikiotis fell asleep in the Lord on February 29 th.
