Card chip: The card chip carries vital security information and protects you from card fraud. 2. The MasterCard hologram and logo: Worldwide establishments displaying the MasterCard logo accept your card. 3. Card number: This is your exclusive 16-digit card number. 4. Valid Thru: Your Credit Card is valid throughout the period - up to the last day of the month of the year indicated on your card. 5. Your name: Please check that your name is correctly embossed. In case of incorrect embossing, please call the Contact Centre at Magnetic stripe: Important information about your Credit Card is encoded on this stripe. Protect your card from direct sunlight exposure and magnetic fields. 7. Card Verification Value/Code(CVV/CVC): A unique 3-digit number for your card security. 8. Signature panel: For your protection, please sign(mandatory) with a black or blue ball point pen on the signature panel immediately upon receipt of your card. 9. 4 Important information Card features and benefits Please call the contact centre at to activate your Card. The expiry date is embossed in the front. Inform the bank of any changes in your particulars recorded with us, such as change of address, telephone/mobile numbers and address as soon as possible. Please advise the bank at least 2 months prior to the expiry date on your card if you do not wish to renew it. Inform the bank of any change in your employment or business. Read your Credit Card Terms and Conditions and do not hesitate to ask for any clarifications. Save when you transfer your balance at 0% interest. Use our balance transfer service and save up to 100% on the interest. Pay 0% interest for 60 days on the transferred amount, which allows you to pay off the outstanding amount on your other Cards. It s convenient too: we will pay your Credit Card issuer and transfer the amount due to your AUB World Credit Card. All you have to do is call us on to process the transfer. Security Ensured Ahli United Bank was the first in the Kingdom of Bahrain to issue EMV (Chip) compliant Credit Cards. With the addition of smart chip, the chances of Card fraud are reduced as a PIN is required for most transactions. Please ensure you memorise your PIN. Convenient credit and easy repayment You will be allocated a credit limit with interest free credit up to 45 days*. Your monthly Credit Card statement enables you to plan your payments on your chosen due date; you may pay as little as 3% of your balance each month and the rest at your convenience. You can also apply for a direct debit facility if you bank with AUB to make the process of the monthly payment convenient. We shall automatically withdraw the amount as per your instructions from your designated bank account. *Subject to payment of Card outstanding balance. Changes may be made from time to time. Share your privileges with your loved ones: You can apply for Supplementary Cards for members of your family over 18 years of age. Earn Pearl Points every time you use your AUB World Credit Card, and redeem them for rewards of your choice. Redeeming Pearl Points Pearl Rewards is the only rewards programme that offers you the flexibility to transfer your points to a number of airlines. Pearl Points can be redeemed within 2 years of issuance for Frequent Flyer Miles of partner airlines or any other rewards offered by the Bank from time to time. Ahli United Bank is following a global trend by adding the smart chip to its World Credit Card. This smart chip ensures additional security for your Card. The main points to remember are The Bank will dispatch your unique PIN for your Credit Card. Please remember to memorise your PIN. On receipt of your Credit Card you must ensure that the Card is signed on the space provided. Card maybe used at some POS terminals without the use of PIN. In such cases, cardholders signature will be requested for completion of transaction.during every transaction at an outlet you could be required to enter this PIN in the new PIN terminals, which are currently being installed worldwide. This eliminates the need to sign on the merchant slip. The transaction in this case will be completed if the PIN is accepted. If you use the wrong PIN three times your Credit Card chip will be locked. You may then need to call the Contact Centre at for assistance. In case the chip is locked, the transcation maybe completed with cardholders signature. 4 5

6 Card usage Precautions to avoid misuse When using your Credit Card to pay for purchases or services, present your Card for payment for the bill. Based on whether the establishment has the new smart chip reader or not, you would be required to do the following: At outlets that have the new smart chip reader: All you would need to do would be to enter the PIN (If requested) on the terminal. Smart chip readers are gradually being installed at retail outlets worldwide and soon you would need to use your PIN for all transactions. At outlets that have the conventional magnetic swipe terminal: You will be given a sales slip for the amount to be settled. Please verify the amount to be paid or add tips (such as in restaurants) if required, and total amount. Sign on the space provided on the slip to accept the specified amount. Formats of sales slips may differ, but the basic contents of these slips will remain the same. The establishment will return your copy of the bill and the sales slip for your record, along with your Card. Retain your copy of the sale slips for all transactions till they appear in your Credit Card statement. Please request your Supplementary Cardholders to similarly follow the above procedures. Ahli United Bank may contact you to verify doubtful transactions. Please cooperate with them. Always ensure that merchants process transactions on your card in your presence, and they do not note down your card number, swipe the card twice or fill in two sale slips. Never sign an incomplete sale slip. Keep track of your card statement, if you do not receive it on time, do not hesitate to call the Bank to ensure that it has been dispatched to your appropriate mailing address. If you find any irregularities on your card statement, please notify the Bank immediately. Read in detail the terms and conditions before you complete an internet transaction, record the name, address and contact details of the firm you are dealing and printout a copy of the order where possible. When shopping online, always use a known or secure computer protected with up-to-date anti-virus software and a firewall installed, and shop at secure websites. Do not hand over the card to anyone when not being used for payment. Upon receipt of your new or renewed card, destroy the old card by cutting it into half. Dispose the old card in a secure manner and keep the new card safely. Destroy your Personal Identification Number (PIN) mailer after you have memorised your PIN, do not disclose it to anyone. Do not write the PIN on your card or keep it with your card. Do remember your PIN as it is needed for all transactions. Always keep the Ahli United Bank Call Centre number and your card number in a safe and convenient place, separate from your card. 7 Card payments Card services Payment options for your Card account You have a choice of convenient methods of payment to settle your monthly Card dues. Over the counter You can make your payments by cash or cheque, quoting your 16-digit number at any Ahli United Bank branch. Standing instruction As an Ahli United Bank account holder, your Card account is created with a standing instruction facility to debit your nominated settlement bank account monthly for payment of your Card dues. The minimum percentage is 3%. You have an option of choosing between 3%, 5%, 10% or 100% of your outstanding balance. My E-bank Internet Banking Payment transfers from your current or savings account to your Card account can be done online, anytime from anywhere, through My E-bank Internet Banking provided you have activated your Internet Banking account. Ahli Contact Centre You can call and instruct the Contact Centre to debit your nominated account. A T-PIN is required for use of this facility. Ahli SMS banking If your have registered for Ahli SMS Banking Services, you could pay your Credit Card balances by sending a message to: 4999 (Batelco User) & (Zain User). Your Credit Card Statement Your monthly Credit Card statement of account is a comprehensive record of all activities on your Card for the statement period. If you find any discrepancy in your statement, please notify us in writing within 15 days of the statement date. Interest is calculated as under Interest is levied on the statement date if the full outstanding balance shown in the previous statement remains unpaid on the payment due date. In case part payment is made by the payment date or no payment is made or full payment is made after due date, interest at prevailing rates will be levied until the entire amount is fully settled. Interest is calculated on daily outstanding balance between the last statement date and the current statement date. No interest will be levied if the last statement balance is fully paid on or before the payment due date. Cash advance A cash advance fee is charged for all cash transactions. For applicable charges, please refer to the Tariff of Charges available at the branch or on (rates and charges) for the updated tariff from time to time. Late payment If your minimum payment due is not received by the payment due date, a late payment fee will be charged to your Card account. Over limit An over limit fee is levied once per Credit Card statement cycle if the Cardholder s outstanding balance exceeds the credit limit. 11 تسديد حساب البطاقة رسوم الخدمات خيارات سداد نفقات بطاقتك االئتمانية لديك عدد من الخيارات السهلة لتسديد نفقات بطاقتك الشهرية. مراجعة الفرع يمكنك تسوية حساب بطاقتك نقد ا أو بواسطة شيك لدى أي فرع من فروع البنك األهلي المتحد مع ذكر رقم بطاقتك المكون من 16 رقم ا. التعليمات الدائمة باعتبارك صاحب حساب في البنك األهلي المتحد يمكنك االستفادة من تسهيالت خدمة التعليمات الدائمة لخصم مبلغ معين من حسابك كل شهر لتسديد حساب البطاقة. أما نسبة السداد فهي %3 كحد أدنى. يمكنك طلب تسديد أي نسبة بين %3 %5 %10 %100 من الرصيد المستحق. الخدمة المصرفية عبر االنترنت يمكنك تسوية حساب بطاقتك أيض ا بواسطة خدمتنا المصرفية عبر االنترنت وذلك بتحويل المبلغ الذي تم دفعه من حسابك الجاري أو حساب التوفير إلى حساب بطاقتك في أي وقت ومن أي مكان شريطة أن يكون قد تم تفعيل حسابك المصرفي. مركز اتصاالت األهلي بإمكانك االتصال على الرقم وإصدار تعليمات لمركز االتصاالت بخصم المبلغ الذي تريد دفعه من حسابك المصرفي. استخدام هذه الخدمة يتطلب رقم تعريف سري. خدمات األهلي SMS المصرفية إذا قمت بالتسجيل للحصول على خدمات الرسائل النصية القصيرة SMS من البنك األهلي فسيتاح لك دفع أرصدة بطاقتك االئتمانية عن طريق ارسال رسالة نصية قصيرة الى الرقم: 4999 )لمشتركي بتلكو( و )لمشتركي زين(. كشف حساب بطاقتك االئتمانية يشمل كشف حساب بطاقتك الشهري جميع المعامالت التي قمت بها باستخدام البطاقة خالل فترة كشف الحساب. وإذا وجدت أي معلومات مغايرة في كشف حساب بطاقتك فيرجى اخطارنا خالل 15 يوم ا من تاريخ الكشف. احتساب الفائدة يتم احتساب الفائدة بتاريخ كشف الحساب في حال عدم سداد كامل الرصيد المستحق المبين في الكشف السابق بحلول تاريخ استحقاق الدفع. اذا تم سداد جزء فقط من الرصيد المستحق في موعد ال يتجاوز تاريخ استحقاق السداد أو لم يسدد أي مبلغ أو إذا تم سداد المبلغ المستحق بالكامل ولكن بعد تاريخ استحقاق السداد فسيتم احتساب فائدة على رصيد الكشف السابق إلى ان يتم سداد المبلغ بالكامل. يتم احتساب الفائدة بناء على الرصيد اليومي للفترة من تاريخ آخر كشف الى تاريخ الكشف الحالي. لن تحتسب أي فائدة إذا تم سداد رصيد آخر كشف بالكامل في أو قبل تاريخ استحقاق السداد. السحوبات النقدية يتم فرض رسوم على جميع المعامالت النقدية التي تتم. للتعرف على الرسوم المطبقة يرجى الرجوع إلى جدول الرسوم المتوفر لدى الفرع أو عبر من وقت آلخر. التأخر في السداد إذا لم يتم استالم الحد األدنى من المبلغ المستحق في تاريخ االستحقاق سيتم احتساب رسوم تأخير على حساب بطاقتك. يرجى الرجوع إلى جدول الرسوم المطبقة المتوافر لدى الفرع أو عبر من وقت ال خر للتعرف على الرسوم المطبقة. المعامالت بالعمالت األجنبية كل معاملة تتم بعملة غير الدينار البحريني سيتم تحويلها إلى الدينار البحريني وفق سعر صرف العملة الساري بتاريخ إجراء المعاملة. سيتم احتساب رسم مقابل المعامالت التي تتم بعملة غير الدينار البحريني. للتعرف على الرسوم المطبقة يرجى زيارة 9 8
