One hundred and thirty - five KM m ice were random ly assigned to nine group s ( n = 15 in each group ) : base control group, high lip id model group, positive control group, the dosage of 0114 0128 0156 g/kg bw /day mycelia of Cordyceps m ilitaris which was p re - heated or not. W hile the m ice of base control group were received only distilled water of the same cubage by gavage, the others were received high lip id emulsion 1615 ml /kg in the morning and different samp les 3310 ml /kg in the afternoon by gavage everyday and total for 21 days. The body weigh of m ice were weighed every 7 days. The total cholesterol( TC) of serum of the blood which was extracted from the : 2007-06 - 04 : (1980 - ),,, 2004 ; ( 1944 - ),,,, :, Email: zhangshl@ scnu. edu. cn. 3

The TC triglyeride ( TG) high - density lipop rotein cholesterol ( HDL - C) of serum were measured and low - density lipo2 p rotein cholesterol(ldl - C) and liver weigh indices were calculated on the 21 th day. The results suggested that the serum TC TG of high lip id m ice which were treated with mycelia of Cordyceps m ilitaris ( heated or not) and J in - shuibao ( the positive control group) was sig2 nificantly decreased on the 21 th day( P < 0105). The liver weigh indices of the group s trea2 ted w ith mycelia of Cordyceps m ilita ris ( heated or not) extremely and significantly decreased ( P < 0101).
