Η ηλικιωμένη Ελληνίδα της αγγελίας θα ήταν προτιμότερο να αποφάσιζε να μπει σε ένα ελληνικό γηροκομείο για πολλούς λόγους. Πρώτον γιατί σε ένα ελληνικό γηροκομείο θα είχε την συντροφιά άλλων ελλήνων ηλικιωμένων και έτσι δεν θα ένιωθε μοναξιά. Επίσης το προσωπικό σε ελληνικό γηροκομείο είναι συνήθως δίγλωσσο οπότε θα υπάρχουν άτομα που θα μιλάνε Ελληνικά. Ακόμη, σε τέτοιες εγκαταστάσεις το προσωπικό σε βοηθάει να κάνεις το μπάνιο σου καθώς και να πάρεις τα φάρμακά σου στην ώρα τους και δεν θα χρειαστεί να ανησυχεί για τις δουλειές του σπιτιού μια και το δωμάτιό της θα είναι πάντα καθαρό. Τέλος η κουζίνα του γηροκομείου θα της έχει πάντοτε έτοιμα υγιεινά ελληνικά φαγητά.
Make sure you are answering in the correct language according to the text Look carefully at the key terms used in the question and unpack their meaning. Don't memorise answers and reproduce them in exams. However, you do need to learn a comprehensive series of vocabulary for a variety of situations ie expressing opinion ie comparing ie analysing Examples and evidence are drawn only from the text. You need to show knowledge of the text, analyse, draw conclusions and/ or develop an argument. Don't just retell the story / information or copy from the text, you need own your answer.
Manage your time Put the pen down momentarily and breathe before commencing the next text. It gives your mind a moment to focus and address the next topic. Make sure you don't run out of time. Read the written material at least twice during the allocated reading time. At the end of reading time, you should have gained an impression of the overall issue. You may also need to compare texts. In this case you need to understand the underpinning issue and be able express comparison.
