YEAR 9 CAMP On 31 July, Year 9 began their road trip to Cooba Sport and Recreation Centre. The six hours spent on the bus, were filled with laughter and the excitement of spending the next four days skiing with friends. After a 5 00am wake up call, we arrived at Smiggins Ski Centre for ski lessons. Skiing was a truly magical experience, despite the blizzard. Olivia was the best skier and several others showed creative talent building snowmen. Back at the Recreation Centre, we participated in swimming, table tennis and we played pool. Our educational trip to the Snowy Hydro taught us how they use snow to create kinetic energy. On the final day, some talented skiers found themselves upgraded to a higher ski class level. On behalf of Year 9, we would like to thank our Year Coordinator, Ms Omeros for organizing the camp, as well as Ms Lou, Mr Papadimatos and Ms Roditis for making this camp so memorable.
