ΕΡΕΥΝΗΤΙΚΗ ΔΡΑΣΤΗΡΙΟΤΗΤΑ Η κύρια ερευνητική δραστηριότητα αφορά την ανάπτυξη μεθόδων για την ανάλυση κτηνιατρικών φαρμάκων, βιταμινών, λιπιδίων, αμινοξέων, πρωτεϊνών και άλλων ουσιών, σε τρόφιμα ζωικής προέλευσης με τη χρησιμοποίηση αναλυτικών τεχνικών όπως η υγροχρωματογραφία υψηλής απόδοσης, η υγροχρωματογραφία συνδυασμένη με αυτόματα συστήματα καθαρισμού δειγμάτων, εμπλουτισμού εκχυλισμάτων και σχηματισμού παραγώγων των ουσιών, η αεριοχρωματογραφία, η φασματοφωτομετρία και άλλες σχετικές τεχνικές. Η ερευνητική δραστηριότητα αφορά, επιπλέον, στον ποιοτικό έλεγχο των τροφίμων ζωικής προέλευσης, με τη χρησιμοποίηση τεχνικών όπως είναι η υπέρυθρη και η διαφορική φασματοφωτομετρία, και στην παρασκευή καινοτόμων και λειτουργικών τροφίμων ζωικής προέλευσης με τη χρησιμοποίηση προβιοτικών μικροοργανισμών και αρωματικών φυτών. 1
