They work primarily with electronic resources and ICT systems, and increasingly less with paper-based ones, to source and research the information that is required. Οι βιβλιοθηκονόµοι σήµερα Το ανθρώπινο στοιχείο αποκτά όλο και µεγαλύτερη σηµασία στη µελέτη των πληροφοριακών συστηµάτων και µάλιστα έχει εφευρεθεί ο νέος όρος «πληροφοριακή οικολογία» για να δηλωθεί το σύστηµα ανθρώπων, πρακτικών, αξιών και τεχνολογιών σε τοπικό περιβάλλον, όπου καθοριστικό ρόλο δεν παίζει η τεχνολογία (µόνο), αλλά οι ανθρώπινες δραστηριότητες που εξυπηρετούνται απ αυτήν Cheng, G.
