Σύντομο Βιογραφικό Ο Δρ Νικόλαος Νανάς σπούδασε πολιτικός μηχανικός στο Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης και συνέχισε με μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στα ευφυή συστήματα στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Sussex της Μεγάλης Βρετανίας. Ολοκλήρωσε το διδακτορικό του στη Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη το 2004 στο Knowledge Media Insistute (KMi) της ίδιας χώρας. Η έρευνα του επικεντρώνεται στους τομείς των Τεχνητών Ανοσοποιητικών Συστημάτων, του Προσαρμοστικού Φιλτραρίσματος της Πληροφορίας, των Πολύπλοκων Συστημάτων, της Στατιστικής Επεξεργασίας Γλώσσας και των Πληροφοριακών Συστάσεων στον Παγκόσμιο Ιστό.
