Colour Television Chassis A0E AA 0.0 Introduction In this Service Information, additional info is given on the A0E DTV (Digital TV) concerning the models 8/DW6557, launched on the market in week 7. The A0E DTV is in fact an A0E-chassis with an integrated S5. Digital Board (the same as used in settop boxes). Only new items, compared to the standard A0E manual ( 785 040) are mentioned here. The S5. module is regarded as a black-box, therefore the only items described in this document are the DTV Interface panel and Power supply. For more info on the S5. Digital board see the MG4.E Service Manual ( 785 0650). Removing the Digital TV module. Before you can access the Digital TV module, remove the rear cover.. Disconnect all cables on the Digital TV module.. Take the module out of the set. Removing the Digital Board from the bracket (see fig. ). Remove the I/O cover plate by lifting the upper and lower snap hooks []. Then remove the cover plate [].. Now the complete Digital Board PWB can be slid out of its bracket []. If the board blocks, it is possible due to connector 000, which can hamper the movement of the panel.
