1. Introduction According to aspects such as holiday times, school exams, etc. a detailed time plan had to be produced for teaching activities and internships in each participant country. For this purpose a questionnaire was prepared and sent to a number of schools in each of the five countries participating in the project. This was a common form aimed to collect information useful for producing training courses time-plans for D3.1, courses programs, contents and methods for D3.2, as well as information for planning the teaching activities and internships for D4.1 in each participant country. The total number of the received questionnaires was eleven (two from Italy, Romania, Germany and Greece and three from Bulgaria). Each partner responsible for the teaching and internship plan in its own country prepared a one page summary in English and translated the same page in its local language, based on the results of the questionnaires and describing the best periods for teaching activities and internships in its country. This is the scope of Task 4.1 and the D4.1 is structured accordingly. The results are presented in the following paragraphs. SHEEP: A Schools' panel for High Energy Efficiency Products 3/17

English summary of the time plans Teaching courses and internship plans in Italy Contribution of Sogesca The template for defining the best period for carrying out teaching and internship activities was subjected to schools (ITIS Rossi and ITC Piovene) and it has been filled in by a group of teachers during an internal coordination meeting. This template was the same used for collecting data for D3.1 (training and social marketing plan). Results obtained from two schools were coherent since they are related to the same conditions. Christmas and Easter public holidays are scheduled for the following periods: 1. at Christmas, schools are normally closed from 22-23 December to 7-8 January; 2. at Easter the closing period varies according to years. In 2011 the Easter is on April 24 and school holidays are from 21 to 27 of April. The duration of Easter is not likely to complicate the scheduling of training activities. The summer closing period is normally between the beginning of June and the beginning of September. Italian schools activities are organised according two periods of four months and half. For each period an evaluation step of pupils learning is foreseen. These evaluation steps are scheduled in early February and in early June and they last about 15 days. So, from the end of Christmas holidays and the beginning of February, pupils are particularly engaged to finish the first school period with good results as well as in period from early May to early June. At the beginning of the school period (September), teachers participate in a number of internal meetings also to organise teaching activities. For all these reasons Italian schools which are partners of the SHEEP project indicated that October, November and the first half of December as well as March and April are the best periods for carrying out extra-activities for teachers and pupils, lectures on new topics included. Two options are considered for internship, also waiting to know the point of view of companies: 1. Distribution of short interneship periods during the year, in the periods previously indicated. 2. Concentration of the internship period after the end of the school (from half of June to half of July). All the schools involved in Italy agreed with these considerations. Teaching courses and internship plans in Romania Contribution of the Western University Vasile Goldis of Arad We agreed that the best period for carrying out teaching and internship activities had to be planned according to schools holidays (Grupul Scolar de Transporturi Auto Henri Coanda and Colegiul Economic Arad) which have been filled in by the teachers during an internal coordination meeting. National public holidays are planned as follows: 1. for Christmas schools are normally closed from 22-23 December to 4-5 January; 2. for Easter the closing period varies according to years. For 2011 the Easter is on April 24 and school holidays are from 16 to 25 of April. The duration of Easter is not likely to complicate the scheduling of training activities. 3. National day 1 st of December 4. Labour Day - 1 st of May 5. Pentecost - 3 rd of June The summer closing period is normally between 15th of June and 15th of September. Schools activities in Romania are divided in two periods, each of them of four months and a half. An evaluation period is foreseen as well. This evaluation period is scheduled in June and lasts about 30 days (only for the 12th graders) At the beginning of the school year (September), teachers participate in a number of internal meetings. All Romanian schools proposed October, November and the first half of December as well as March, April and the first half of May are the best periods for carrying out extra-activities for teachers and pupils. Internship is to be planned according to a previous agreement with the companies either during the year for shorter periods or at the end of school year for a month (from half of June to half of July). Teaching courses and internship plans in Bulgaria Contribution of PMET Gen. Ivan Bachvarov The teachers from the team managing the activities appointed to the Mechanoelectrical High School Gen. Ivan Bachvarov define the best period for carrying out teaching courses and internships for students. We will have holidays for Christmas, Easter and in April (our spring holiday) as follows: 1. for Christmas our school is normally closed from 23 December to 10 January; 2. for Easter the closing period varies according to years. For 2011 the Easter is on April 24 and school holidays are from 22 to 25 of April. The duration of Easter is not likely to complicate the scheduling of training activities; 3. the duration of spring holiday is from 30 th March to 10 th of April. It is not likely to complicate the scheduling of training activities, either; Our summer holiday is from July to the 15 th September. Bulgarian school activities are organised in two terms of four months. At the end of each term there is a short evaluation period for term tests and written reviews. These evaluation steps are scheduled in January and in June. At the beginning of the school year (from 1 st -15 th September), teachers participate in internal meetings and will not be able to train students.training courses for students should be carried out when pupils aren t subjected to exams or tests. For all these reasons Bulgarian school which is a partner of the SHEEP project indicated that October, November and the first half of December as well as March, April and the first half of May are the best periods for carrying out extra-activities for pupils. As far as internship is concerned it could be carried out during the periods mentioned above or during the summer holiday (July and August). Mechanoelectrical High School Gen. Teaching courses and internship plans in Germany D4.1 teaching courses and internship plans Contribution of FOSBOS and GG Germany The template for defining the best period for carrying out teaching and internship activities was subjected to schools (FOSBOS Fürstenfeldbruck and Gymnasium Gröbenzell) and it has been filled in by teachers during the meeting in Arad. Bavarian public holidays are scheduled for the following periods: 1. At Christmas, schools are normally closed from 22-23 December to 7-8 January; 2. At Easter the closing period varies according to years. In 2011 the Easter holidays are from April 18 to April 30. 3. Whitsunday holidays are from June 14 to June 25 4. There is an autumn break of one week October 31 November 5 5. We have winter holidays from March 7 March 13 6. The summer closing period is normally between the beginning of August and the middle of September FOSBOS Abitur (A-Level) will take place from the May 30 June 6 which might slow down the training of teachers since they have a lot of work marking the exams afterwards. After Whitsunday there will be the oral exams which might make it difficult to make teachers attend training lessons. This template was the same used for collecting data for D3.1 (training and social marketing plan) and D3.2 (Training courses for teachers: programmes, schedule and contents) Results obtained from two schools were coherent since they are related to the same conditions. Christmas and Easter public holidays are scheduled for the following periods: 1. at Christmas, schools are normally closed from 23 December to 8 January; 2. at Easter the closing period varies according to years. In 2011 the Easter is on April 24 and school holidays are from 18 of April to 3 of May. The summer closing period is normally between the end of June and the beginning of September. Greek schools activities are organised according two periods of four months and half. There is only one assessment period. The assessment of the students is made through written examinations carried out in a national level between the second half of May and the first half of June. So, the period from early May to June, is not suitable at all for any other activities related to pupils as during that time they are particularly engaged to finish the school period with as good results as possible (they study for the examinations). At the beginning of the school period (September), normally teachers participate in a number of meetings both inside their schools and with didactic planners in an attempt to organise their teaching activities. For all these reasons the schools from Greece which participated in the survey (namely the EPAL of Korydallos, which is partner of the SHEEP project and the collaborating 1 st EPAL of Pireus) have indicated that November, the first half of December, as well as February, March and the first half of April are the best periods for carrying out extra activities for teachers and pupils, lectures on new topics included. As regards the internships, it was found that the best possible choice is to have the whole internship period after the end of the school s final examinations (from the second half of June to the end of August). The time plans in the national languages Teaching courses and internship plans for Italy in Italian D4.1 programmazione delle attività didattiche per gli studenti e dei tirocini nelle aziende Contributo di Sogesca Il modello per definire il periodo migliore per svolgere l attività didattica e di tirocinio è stato sottoposto alle scuole (ITIS Rossi e ITC Piovene) ed è stato compilato da un gruppo di insegnanti durante una riunione di coordinamento interno. Questo modello era lo stesso usato per la raccolta dei dati per D3.1 (formazione degli insegnanti e del piano di marketing sociale). I risultati ottenuti dalle due scuole è stato coerente in quanto sono legati alle stesse condizioni. i giorni festivi nazionali previsti per il periodo di Natale e Pasqua SONO: 1. a Natale, le scuole sono normalmente chiuse dal 22-23 dicembre al 6 gennaio; 2. a Pasqua, il periodo di chiusura varia in base agli anni. Nel 2011 la Pasqua è il 24 aprile e le vacanze scolastiche sono tra il 21 e il 27 di aprile. Il periodo di chiusura estiva è normalmente compreso tra i primi di giugno e i primi di settembre. Le attività delle scuole italiane sono organizzate secondo due periodi di quattro mesi e mezzo ciascuno. Per ogni periodo è prevista una fase di valutazione dell apprendimento degli alunni (scrutini). Queste procedure di valutazione sono in programma ai primi di febbraio e ai primi di giugno e durano circa 15 giorni. Così, dalla fine delle vacanze natalizie e all'inizio di febbraio, gli alunni sono particolarmente impegnati per terminare il primo periodo scolastico con buoni risultati. Lo stesso accade nel periodo da inizio maggio a inizio giugno. All'inizio del periodo scolastico (settembre), gli insegnanti partecipano a una serie di riunioni interne anche per organizzare le attività didattiche. Per tutti questi motivi le scuole italiane che sono partner del progetto "SHEEP", hanno indicato che ottobre, novembre e la prima metà del mese di dicembre, nonché marzo e aprile sono i periodi migliori per la realizzazione di attività-extra per insegnanti e studenti, insegnamento di materie aggiuntive incluso. Due opzioni sono considerate per gli stage, in attesa di conoscere anche il punto di vista delle aziende: 1. Distribuzione di stage brevi durante l'anno, nei periodi indicati in precedenza. 2. Concentrazione del periodo di tirocinio dopo la fine della scuola (da metà giugno a metà luglio). Tutte le scuole coinvolte in Italia sono d'accordo con queste considerazioni. Teaching courses and internship plans for Romania in Romanian D4.1 Planificarea cursurilor şi a perioadelor de practică Universitatea de Vest Vasile Goldiş Arad Am căzut de accord că perioada pentru desfăşurarea actvităţilor de predare şi practică trebuie planificată în funcţie de vacanţele şcolare care au fost precizate de profesori în cadrul şedinţelor lor interne (Grupul Şcolar de Transporturi Auto Henri Coanda şi Colegiul Economic Arad). Vacanţele şi zilele libere sunt planificate după cum urmează: 1. De Crăciun, şcolile sunt închise din 22-23 decembrie până în 4-5 ianuarie 2. De Paşte, perioada de vacanţă variază în funcţie de an. În 2011 Paştele este în 24 aprilie iar vacanţa din 16 până în 25. Sărbătoarea Paştelui nu va complica planificarea activităţilor de training. 3. Ziua Naţională 1 decembrie 4. Ziua naţională - 1 mai 5. Rusaliile - 3 iunie Perioada vacanţei de vară este de obicei între 15 iunie şi 15 septembrie. Activităţile şcolilor în România vor fi împărţite în două semestre, fiecare de câte 4 luni jumate. S-a prevăzut şi o perioadă de evaluare. Această perioadă este planificată în luna iunie si dureaza aproximativ 30 de zile (numai pentru absolvenţii claselor a XII- a).la începutul anului şcolar (în septembrie), profesorii participă la şedinţe interne. Toate şcolile din România au propus lunile octombrie, noiembrie şi prima jumătate a lunii decembrie şi de asemenea martie, aprilie şi prima jumătate a lunii mai ca cele mai bune perioade pentru desfăşurarea activităţilor extra-curriculare pentru elevi şi profesori. Practica urmeaza sa fie planificata in functie de acordul stabilit cu companiile fie pe parcursul anului scolar in perioade mai scurte sau la sfarsitul anului scolar timp de o luna (intre 15 iunie 15 iulie). Иван Бъчваров", определи найдобрият период за провеждане на обучителни курсове и стажове за ученици. В България имаме ваканция за Коледа, Великден и през април (нашата пролетна ваканция), както следва: 1. за Коледа нашето училище е нормално затворено от 23 декември до 10 януари; 2. за Великден ваканцията варира в зависимост от годините. За 2011 г., Великден е на 24 април и училищната ваканция е 22-25 април. Продължителността на Великден не е вероятно да усложни графика на обучителните дейности; 3. продължителността на пролетната ваканция е от 30 март до 10 април. Не е вероятно да се усложни графика на обучителните дейности; Нашата лятна ваканция е от юли до 15 септември.българските училищни дейности са организирани в два периода от по четири месеца. В края на всеки срок има кратък период за контролни и писмени работи. Тези оценъчни дейности са насрочени за януари и юни. В началото на учебната година (от 1 на 15-ти септември), учители участват във вътрешни срещи и няма да могат да обучават учениците. Курсове за обучение на ученици трябва да се извършват, когато учениците не са подложени на изпити или тестове. Поради всички тези причини българското училище, което е партньор на проекта SHEEP,смята че месеците октомври, ноември и първата половина на декември, както и март, април и първата половина на май са най-добрите периоди за извършване на допълнителни обучителни дейности за учениците. Що се отнася до стажовете те могат да се извършват по време на периодите, посочени погоре или по време на лятната ваканция (юли и август). Професионална Гимназия по Механоелектротехника "Ген Иван Бъчваров "и другите български училища, участващи в проекта SHEEP, се съгласиха с тези съображения. Teaching courses and internship plans for Germany in German D4.1 Fortbildungen und Schulungen Gültig für FOSBOS and Gymnasium Gröbenzell in Deutschland (Bayern) Die Vorlage zum Erfassen der besten Zeitperioden für Fortbildungen, Schulungen und Praktika wurde von beiden Schulen ausgefüllt und ausgewertet. Die Auswertung ergab die für beide Schulen nahezu identische Ergebnisse, allerdings ergeben sich für das Gymnasium Gröbenzell durch den doppelten Abiturjahrgang erschwerte Bedingungen im Schuljahr 2010/2011. 1. Weihnachtsferien sind üblicherweise zwischen dem 22../23. Dezember bis nach Heilig Drei Könige (7./8. Januar); 2. Winterferien (Faschingsferien) sind meist 1 Woche im Februar. 3. Die Osterferien und Pfingstferien sind in der Regel 2 Wochen lang und von Jahr zu Jahr verschieden, abhängig von den religiösen Feiertagen. 4. Die Sommerferien sind 6 Wochen lang und in der Regel von Anfang August bis Mitte Sepember We have winter holidays from March 7 March 13 5. Im Herbst rund um Allerheiligen ist 1 Woche Ferien. 6. An gesetzlichen Feiertage ist schulfrei, zusätzlich noch am Buß und Bettag. FOSBOS Abiturprüfungszeit ist vom 30. Mai bis zum 6. Juni. In diesem Zeitraum wird Lehrerfortbildung kaum möglich sein, weil Korrektur- und Zusatzaufgaben sowie Notenkonferenzen anstehen. Nach Pfingsten finden die mündlichen Abiturprüfungen statt, erneut eine erhöhte Arbeitsbelastung für Lehrer. Weitere Belastungszeiten sind die Wochen vor den Zwischen- und Jahreszeugnissen. GG Ähnliches gilt für das Gymnasium. Besondere Schwierigkeiten bereitet aber die Umstellung des neunjährigen Gymnasiums auf das achtjährige Gymnasium, weil im Schuljahr 2010/2011 doppelte Abiturjahrgänge geprüft werden müssen. Die Prüfungstermine sind: G9 (Neunjähriges Gymnasium) 1.3.2011 14.4.2011 G8 (Achtjähriges Gymnasium) 1.5.2011-11.06.2011 Am Anfang des Schuljahres finden zahlreiche Lehrerkonferenzen statt (speziell im September). Im zweiten Schulhalbjahr erscheinen März und ab Ende Juni die geeigneten Monate. Die Fortbildungen werden deshalb blockweise in den genannten Zeiträumen durchgeführt werden. Teaching courses and internship plans for Greece in Greek D4.1 σχεδιασμός των εκπαιδευτικών μαθημάτων και της πρακτικής άσκησης Η συνεισφορά του ΚΑΠΕ Το ερωτηματολόγιο για την εξεύρεση της καταλληλότερης περιόδου για την οργάνωση των εκπαιδευτικών δραστηριοτήτων και της πρακτικής άσκησης στάλθηκε στα παρακάτω σχολεία το ΕΠΑΛ Κορυδαλλού και το 1 ο ΕΠΑΛ Πειραιά και συμπληρώθηκαν από τους υπεύθυνους καθηγητές. Το ερωτηματολόγιο ήταν το ίδιο που χρησιμοποιήθηκε για την συλλογή δεδομένων για το παραδοτέο D3.1 (σχεδιασμός της κατάρτισης και του κοινωνικού μάρκετινγκ) και D3.2 (Κατάρτιση καθηγητών: προγράμματα, χρονοδιάγραμμα και περιεχόμενα) Τα αποτελέσματα που προκύπτουν από τις δύο σχολεία ήταν σχεδόν τα ίδια, δεδομένου ότι συνδέονται με τους ίδιους όρους. Οι αργίες των Χριστουγέννων και του Πάσχα είναι οι ακόλουθες: 1. την περίοδο των Χριστουγέννων, τα σχολεία είναι συνήθως κλειστά από τις 23 Δεκεμβρίου έως τις 8 Ιανουαρίου, 2. το Πάσχα η περίοδος που είναι κλειστά διαφέρει και εξαρτάται από το έτος. Το 2011 το Πάσχα είναι στις 24 Απριλίου και οι σχολικές διακοπές από τις 18 Απριλίου έως τις 3 Μαΐου. Η καλοκαιρινές διακοπές κατά τις οποίες παραμένουν κλειστά τα σχολεία διαρκεί συνήθως από το τέλος Ιουνίου μέχρι τις αρχές Σεπτεμβρίου. Ελληνικά σχολεία δραστηριότητες οργανώνονται με βάση δύο περιόδους των τεσσάρων μηνών και το μισό. Υπάρχει μόνο μια περίοδο αξιολόγησης. Η αξιολόγηση των μαθητών γίνεται με γραπτές εξετάσεις που διενεργούνται σε εθνικό επίπεδο μεταξύ του δεύτερου μισού του Μαΐου και του πρώτου δεκαπενθήμερου του Ιουνίου. Συνεπώς, το χρονικό διάστημα από τις αρχές Μαΐου έως τον Ιούνιο, δεν ενδείκνυται καθόλου για οποιεσδήποτε άλλες δραστηριότητες που σχετίζονται με τους μαθητές, καθώς κατά την περίοδο αυτή οι μαθητές είναι ιδιαίτερα απασχολημένοι ώστε να ολοκληρώσουν τη σχολική χρονιά με όσο το δυνατόν καλύτερα αποτελέσματα (οι μαθητές μελετούν για τις εξετάσεις). Κατά την έναρξη της σχολικής περιόδου (τον Σεπτέμβριο), οι εκπαιδευτικοί κατά κανόνα συμμετέχουν σε μια σειρά συναντήσεων τόσο στα σχολεία τους και με όσο και με τους υπεύθυνους για τον σχεδιασμό της διδακτέας ύλης, σε μια προσπάθεια να οργανώσουν τις διδακτικές τους δραστηριότητες. Για όλους αυτούς τους λόγους, τα σχολεία από την Ελλάδα που συμμετείχαν στην έρευνα (δηλαδή το ΕΠΑΛ Κορυδαλλού, το οποίο είναι εταίρος του προγράμματος SHEEP και το συνεργαζόμενο 1 ο ΕΠΑΛ Πειραιά) δήλωσαν ότι ο Νοέμβριος, το πρώτο δεκαπενθήμερο του Δεκεμβρίου, καθώς και ο Φεβρουάριος, ο Μάρτιος και το πρώτο δεκαπενθήμερο του Απριλίου είναι οι καλύτερες περίοδοι για τη διεξαγωγή πρόσθετων δραστηριοτήτων (συμπεριλαμβανομένων των διαλέξεων για νέα αντικείμενα σπουδών) για τους εκπαιδευτικούς και τους μαθητές. Όσον αφορά την πρακτική άσκηση, διαπιστώθηκε ότι η καλύτερη δυνατή επιλογή είναι η πρακτική άσκηση να πραγματοποιηθεί την περίοδο μετά το τέλος των τελικών εξετάσεων του σχολείου (από το δεύτερο δεκαπενθήμερο του Ιουνίου μέχρι το τέλος του Αυγούστου).
