4 General and Features The ibridge product family is a comprehensive interconnect solution that is designed for board-to-cable connections in all applications. It is especially suitable for use in highly demanding systems that require reliability and robust connections. It is well suited for automotive, LED, telecommunications and data-transmission devices. The single row ibridge connectors could be used in a wide application temperature range (-55 C to +125 C). Engineer can select between two termination options depending on the application: SMT for maximum PCB real estate usage or DIP solder for extra mechanical strain relief. To take advantage of maximum PCB real estate usage while not compromising on the PCB retention force, the SMT version features solder brackets on both sides. In addition, SMT termination coplanarity is 100% guaranteed, less than 0.10 mm on all contacts. The ibridge connectors are engineered for every application concern, including severe vibration. The ibridge connectors have natural insulator housings to minimize light energy absorption. The male connectors are delivered in tube packaging. Tape and reel packaging with pick and place cap for fully automatic SMT assembly is also available.
