Detecting noise components (approx. 0 khz signals) in the demodulated AF signals, the squelch circuit stops audio signals being emitted. A portion of FM-demodulated AF signal from the IF IC (M: IC00/IC00) is passed through the DAC (M: IC00) for level (=threshould) adjustment. he level-adjusted AF signals are passed through the noise filter (IC00, pins, and R, C, /IC00, pins, and R, C, ) to filter the noise components (approx. 0 khz signals) only. he noise components are rectified to produce DC voltage corresponding to the noise level. MHz) RX. <A AND> (VCO AND MA UNIS) A portion of output signals from each VCO are fedback to the PLL IC (M: IC00) via buffers (V: Q00, 0) and LPF. he applied VCO outputs are divided by the prescaler and programmable divider, then phase-compared with divided reference frequency from X0 (MA). he phase difference is output via the charge pump, and applied to the VCOs as lock voltage via the loop filter. VHF AND VCO (VCO UNI; Q, D, ) he VHF AND VCO generates the st LO for VHF band (. MHz) RX, and also X signal for the operation on the VHF band. UHF AND VCO (VCO UNI; Q0, D0, 0) he UHF AND VCO generates the LO for UHF band (. MHz) RX, and also X signal for the operation on the UHF band. When receiving 00 MHz and higher signals, the UHF AND VCO oscillates.. MHz st LO signals, and the output signal is doubled by the doubler (MA UNI; Q0, D) before being applied to the mixer (MA UNI; IC00). < AND> (MA UNI) A portion of output signals from each VCO are fedback to the PLL IC (IC00) via buffer (Q). he applied VCO outputs are divided by the prescaler and programmable divider, then phase-compared with divided reference frequency from X0. he phase difference is output via the charge pump, and applied to the VCOs as lock voltage via the loop filter. < AND> VHF AND VCO (MA UNI; Q0, D00, 0) he VHF AND VCO generates the st LO for VHF band ( MHz) RX for AND. When the oscillation frequency drifts, its phase changes from that of the reference frequency, causing a lock voltage change to compensate for the drift in the VCO oscillating frequency.
