ل Abstract The Levels of Emotional Intelligence of Secondary Schools Principals and its effect on Organizational Loyalty on Teachers in the Governorate of the Capital Amman Prepared by: Khadejh Mohammad AlLouzi. Supervisor by: Prof. Dr. AbdulJabbar AlBiati ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to identify the levels of emotional intelligence for principals of secondary schools and its effects on organizational loyalty of teachers in the Governorate of the capital, Amman. In order to achieve this objective, the following questions have been developed: 1. What is the level of emotional intelligence for principals of secondary schools in the Governorate of the capital Amman? 2. What is the level of organizational loyalty of the teachers in these schools? 3. Does the degree of organizational loyalty differ due to sex, experience and scietific qualifications for teachers? 4. Are there significant statistical differences between the levels of organizational loyalty of teachers due to the differences in levels of emotional intelligence for principals in the province of the capital Amman? A random cluster sample of (40) Secondary School Principals and (280) teachers of their schools had been chosen for the study. Two tools were developed by the researcher and used. The first measurement was for the emotional intelligence of principles and the second was a questionnaire for the organizational loyalty of teachers. Validity and reliability were achieved. A semiexperimental method was used to achieve the objectives of the study, The following results were found : 1. The emotional intelligence level of secondary schools' principles came at medium level. 2. The level of organizational loyalty of teacher in the governorate of the capital city of Amman came of medium leve.
م 3. There were significant statistical differences at the level of (a 0.05) in the level of organizational loyalty due to sex variable for the benefit of female. 4. There were significant differences at the level of (a 0.05) in the level of organizational loyalty depending on the experience variable for the benefit of those of (eleven years and over). 5. There were significant differences due to the variable of academic qualification for the benefit of the (PhD and MA) The study recommended: The need to continue attracting the female in teaching and to prefer them in the case of competition. The one who is appoints as a director should be subject to the emotional intelligence test to know his interference level and to appoint those with higher level.
