The results showed that 1 Dioecism sperm or egg jetted from crown's bottom to water and they fertilize externally with great propagation Zygote started the cleavage 0. 8 h after its fertilization and experienced a life history with early embryonic development trochophore metatrochphore nectochaeta setiger juvenile metanectochaeta and imago successively. 2 Its branchia coronal has the functions of breath sense and filter. It feeds on chlorella pyrenoidosa and organic detritus. 3 All individuals from trochophore to imago have eyespot but with degenerative sight. 4 It has a great adjustability to water environment. We discussed the impacts on habitat water quality of Ficopomatus in the end as a conclusion.
