Its female adult also resembles the adult of H. cunea ( Drury ). These similarities may cause confusion in the identification of the two species in the field. Moreover, Lemyra imparilis (Butler) is widely distributed and is likely to have overlap distribution with H. cunea ( Drury ), which may affect the forecast and control of H. cunea (Drury). By comparison, the morp hological differences in adults, eggs, larvae and p upae, and the biological characters of the two species are studied in this paper.
