Wp6-Progress achieved (page3) Outdoor smart metering units The purchase and the Installations of the smart meters are 100% contribution in kind by the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (Estimated cost 30.000). 36
Wp6-Progress achieved (page4) Indoor smart metering units In addition, 2 temperature and air humidity data loggers installed to 2 pilot dwellings for deeper analysis of the indoor conditions after the energy renovations. Furthermore, 2 more devices have been installed to the above 2 dwellings in order to register electricity consumption per device for further and more detailed analysis of the electricity consumption (lighting, cooker, air condition etc.). The 2 dwellings were selected according to the suitability and the age of the buildings electrical power board (separation of cabling in zones). 37
WP6-Designing indoor units In-house smart metering device: Yianitza UMG 604 and 2 * UMG104 for each of the 2 dwellings. For the purpose of the project, a smart metering device (box) developed containing 3 metering devices (1 Yianitza UMG604 and 2 UMG104 and wireless access point). The reason is to have the capacity of recording and monitoring the detailed electricity consumption of the households per use (cooker, lighting, electrical appliances etc.) 38
