It is the key to collect and dispose food waste separately of the disposal of household waste. In recent years, the competent departments have attached great attention on the recycling, reduction and harmless handling of food waste. The resource processing technologies of food waste, including composting, feedstuff, grease recovery and reusage of anaerobic fermentation production were reviewed, the process characteristics and existing problems were also presented, and the future development trends of dealing with food waste were prospected.
