Tsiolkas 150+ Students attended, 3yr old 12th grade classes. 28 teachers and 9 substitutes worked together guided by our Sunday School coordinators. Our one disappointment was that on MANY SUNDAYS, attendance was only 48% of registered students. We must do BETTER! Let s take a breather to recharge with summer fun and activities. Many thanks to all of those who participated. This event could not be possible without the cooperative effort of so many people. Parish Council will host the 90th birthday Fellowship Hour for the Very Rev. Fr. George Kiricoples on Sunday, June 21st. The date for the upcoming Diakonia Fundraiser has been moved to September 22, 2015. PLEASE HELP US REACH OUR GOAL Meals on Wheels requested to use our Fellowship Hall for their annual fundraiser. Parish Council gave permission for the use. An exterior Carillon System (electronic bells) has been generously offered to the community as a donation gift. The speakers would be hidden from sight and would add to our Church environment. Parish Council accepted the donation. Final touches on the entrance of the Fellowship Hall & Pavilion were proposed by Architect Jerry Phillips. This would create a more impressive entrance to our Hellenic Center facilities. Parish Council accepted these recommendations. Looking for volunteers to staff our nursery We are looking for volunteers to staff our wonderful nursery on Sunday mornings. We work in teams of 2 with a rotation of 5 or 6 weeks depending on the number of volunteers. This years theme was Journey to the Promised Land Old Testament Stories. We concluded on Friday with a special teaching Liturgy and our picnic. A huge special thanks to the VCS Committee, the teachers & staff who offered so much time, effort, sacrifice and love for the benefit of our children. It would be impossible without them.
