The Christmas Bazaar will be held on Wednesday Novem- Thank you to Peter Constantopoulos, and Dorothy and George Kypreos for cooking and taking charge of the delicious food served at the brunch on Sunday, July 27. From the Board Fred Graham Annual General Meeting in November We expect to host our annual general meeting in early November. At this meeting, the Board of Directors will put forth a proposal, to be voted upon, for a new membership fee structure. Members of the parish will be notified of the meeting when the date has been finalized. Elections The Board of Directors will complete its 2-year term on December 31, 2008. For those members of the parish who are interested in serving the community as members of the Board of Directors, elections will occur shortly after the annual general meeting, in late November or early December. More details on the election process to come. Help...? We are looking for volunteers to assist with the maintenance and rental of our community centre and with our church website. If you can help, please contact the church office or speak with a member of the Board. Join All Saints We encourage you to renew your membership or become a new member of the All Saints community. Membership forms are available on our website (www.all-saints.ca) or at the church office. Do You Like the Herald? We certainly hope so! And we hope you can help us financially. It costs between $500 and $700 (depending on length) to print each issue of the Herald and mail it to all our members. Why mail the newsletter? Why not make it available only at the church and online? Three reasons: We want to be sure everyone receives the newsletter in a timely manner. We know many people find it easier and more convenient to read the newsletter on paper than on screen. We can include material from other groups at All Saints (e.g., order forms) in the same envelope; the mailing can serve more than one purpose. If you can, please consider placing an ad in the next issue or for the year (6 issues). A quarter page costs $60 for 1 issue or $300 for the year. Questions? Write to herald@all-saints.ca. The new scouting season starts September 23, 2008. Registration will begin September 7 at the church. What s On at All Saints September marks the beginning of the new church year and the resumption of many activities at All Saints. Here are some of the activities you and your family are welcome to participate in.
