Michael My dear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord, All four Sundays in the month of February (5 th, 12 th, 19 th, 26 th ) serve as an introduction to the Triodion. The Triodion has three different periods. The first includes the above mentioned four Sundays, which introduce us to Great Lent. The second part escorts us in Great Lent, which starts on February 27 th, and is 40 days long lasting until the Saturday of Lazarus. The third part is Holy Week through Holy Saturday. Afterwards we celebrate Pascha (Easter), the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The Resurrection of Christ reveals to us the brightness and the glory of the Kingdom of God and brings us the uncreated Light, the sanctified Grace which makes us partakers of His Heavenly Kingdom. A hymn we chant during Church at Pascha (Easter) exemplifies this Now all have been full of light, Heaven and Earth and Hades. The light of the presence of Christ is shown brilliantly everywhere, in Heaven with the Angels, on earth with the Saints and the faithful people, even in Hades with the deceased; the whole creation is offered salvation by Christ. In other words, the Christian with the Resurrection has received the blessing to understand and see things which eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. (I Corinthians 2:9). All this means that man is worthy to acquire the Lord who allows him to partake of His Kingdom. This glorious end of Pascha (Easter) is, at the same time the beginning of new life, the life in the Resurrection of Christ. This bright end presupposes preparation of ourselves, which is being done mainly during the time of the Triodion. Thus, while the discipline of fasting, repentance, prayer, the struggle against the passions and sin and the decisive yearning and cultivation of virtue are the work mainly during Great Lent, the four Sundays which precede Great Lent, as I mentioned, prepare, and motivate and encourage us to desire, to decide, to start and to be firm in the discipline of the ascetical life during Great Lent. We are guided by the themes of the Pre-Lenten Sundays and the messages of the Gospel readings. On Sunday, Feb. 5 th we learn not to be prideful like the Pharisee but humble like the Publican. The following Sunday, Feb. 12 th, we learn to reject everything sinful which separates us from God and we decide to be steadfast and firm to return in repentance to the Lord, the Father, asking for forgiveness and staying with Him. The third Sunday, Feb. 19 th, we are taught that the decisive factor God will use at His Second Coming to judge us is the compassion and love we offer to others. The fourth Sunday, Feb. 26 th, we learn to exercise fasting, almsgiving, and prayer. At the evening Vespers Service, we are called to ask and receive forgiveness from each other friends, enemies and strangers thus we start Great Lent the next day with peace, reconciliation and humility. My friends, we once again are called to choose the Holy Will of God, to choose humility and love and to deny our will, which includes unnecessary concerns, along with greed and material things with pleasures and sinful desires. By these means we are called to free ourselves from any earthly attachment thereby allowing us to rise to the heavenly realities. With this way, we understand that we are not for this secular and sinful world and as Church we become the place of God s appearance. My prayer and hope is that all of us may prepare ourselves correctly this month for our entrance into Great Lent. Amen. With love in Christ, Rev. Michael E. Varvarelis Proistamenos

3 THE SOURCE FEBRUARY 2017 Page 3 Αγαπητοί μου αδελφοί εν Κυρίω, Αυτός ο μήνας ο Φεβρουάριος μέ τίς Κυριακές του μάς εισάγει στό Τριώδιο. Τό Τριώδιο έχει τρία στάδια. Οι τέσσερες πρώτες Κυριακές (5,12,19 & 26 Φεβουραρίου) είναι εισαγωγικές καί προσφωνήσιμες τής Μεγάλης Τεσσαρακοστής. Αυτές αποτελούν τό πρώτο στάδιο τού Τριωδίου. Μετά από τίς 27 Φεβρουαρίου (Καθαρά Δευτέρα) εισερχόμεθα στή Μεγάλη Τεσσαρακοστή πού διαρκεί μέχρι τό Σάββατο τού Λαζάρου, τό δεύτερο μέρος τού Τριωδίου. Τό τρίτο μέρος είναι η Μεγάλη Εβδομάδα καί τελειώνει τό Μεγάλο Σάββατο τότε πού εορτάζουμε τήν Ανάσταση τού Χριστού. Η Ανάσταση τού Χριστού, τό Πάσχα, αποκαλύπτει σέ μάς τήν λαμπρότητα καί τήν δόξα τής Βασιλείας τού Θεού καί μάς φέρνει τό άκτιστο Φώς, τήν αγιαστική Χάρι πού μάς κάνει μετόχους τής Ουρανίας Βασιλείας Του. Τότε ψάλλουμε «Νύν πάντα πεπλήρωται φωτός, ουρανός τε καί γή καί τά καταχθόνια». Δηλαδή τώρα όλα έχουν γεμίσει μέ τό φώς τής παρουσίας καί Χάριτος τού Χριστού όλα καί ο ουρανός μέ τούς αγγέλους καί τούς αγίους καί η γή μέ τούς Χριστιανούς ανθρώπους καί τήν δημιουργία καί τά υπό τήν γήν πού είναι οι τεθνεώτες. Η σωτηρία είναι πραγματικότητα. Μέ άλλες λέξεις τό αισθητήριο τού ανθρώπου έχει αποκτήσει τήν ευλογία νά εννοεί καί νά βλέπει εκείνα πού «οφθαλμός ουκ είδε καί ους ούκ ήκουσε καί επί καρδίας ανθρώπου ούκ ανέβη, α ητοίμασεν ο Θεός τοίς αγαπώσιν αυτόν» (Α. Κορθ. 2:9). Δηλαδή ο άνθρωπος αξιώνεται νά οικειοποιείται τόν Θεόν ο Οποίος τού επιτρέπει νά μετέχει τής βασιλείας Του. Αυτό τό ένδοξο τέλος τού Πάσχα πού αποτελεί καί τήν ευλογημένη αρχή μιάς νέας ζωής, τής Αναστάσιμης ζωής, αυτή η λαμπρή κατάληξη προϋποθέτει μιά ειλικρινή καί πειθαρχημένη προετοιμασία πού κυρίως γίνεται στή διάρκεια τού κατανυκτικού Τριωδίου. Ετσι ενώ ο αγώνας τής νηστείας, τής μετανοίας, τής προσευχής, ο αγώνας εναντίον τών παθών καί τής αμαρτίας καί ο αγώνας γιά τήν αρετή δίδεται στή διάρκεια τής Μεγάλης Τεσσαρακοστής οι τέσσερες Κυριακές πού προηγούνται καί είναι όλες όπως προαναφέραμε στόν μήνα αυτόν τόν Φεβρουάριο μάς προετοιμάζουν, μάς παρακινούν, μάς εμπνέουν, μάς ανάπτουν τό φιλότιμο γιά νά αρχίσουμε καί νά κρατήσουμε σταθερά τήν ασκητική ζωή πού η Εκκλησία μάς προτείνει σ αυτή τήν περίοδο. Οδηγούμαστε από τά θέματα τών Κυριακών καί τά μηνύματα τών Ευαγγελικών περικοπών τους. Τήν Κυριακή, 5 Φεβρουαρίου, μαθαίνουμε νά μή είμεθα υπερήφανοι σάν τόν Φαρισαίο αλλά ταπεινοί σάν τόν Τελώνη. Τήν επομένη Κυριακή, 12 Φεβουαρίου, μαθαίνουμε νά απαρνούμαστε κάθε τι άσωτο καί αμαρτωλό στή ζωή μας καί ζητούμε μέ συντριβή τήν συγχώρεση από τόν Θεό-Πατέρα μας. Τήν τρίτη Κυριακή, 19 Φεβουαρίου, διδασκόμαστε ότι κριτήριο πού θά χρησιμοποιήσει ο δίκαιος Κριτής ο Χριστός στή Δευτέρα Παρουσία Του γιά νά μάς δικάσει θά είναι η αγάπη πού θά δείξουμε πρός τόν συνάνθρωπό μας καί τήν τετάρτη Κυριακή, 26 Φεβουαρίου, μαθαίνουμε γιά τήν νηστεία, τήν ελεημοσύνη καί τήν προσευχή πού θά πρέπει νά καλλιεργήσουμε ενώ τό εσπέρας καλούμεθα νά συγχωρήσουμε όλους καί τούς εχθρούς καί τούς φίλους γιά νά αρχίσουμε τήν Μεγάλη Τεσσαρακοστή από τήν επομένη ημέρα. Δηλαδή καλούματε νά διαλέξουμε τό άγιο θέλημα τού Θεού, τής ταπείνωσης καί αγάπης καί νά απαρνηθούμε τό δικό μας μέ τίς όχι αναγκαίες φροντίδες, μέ τήν πλεονεξία καί τά υλικά αγαθά, μέ τίς απολαύσεις καί τίς ηδονές. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι καλούμαστε νά απελευθερωθούμε από κάθε γήϊνο πού δέν μάς επιτρέπει νά υψωθούμε στίς ουράνιες πραγματικότητες. Μέ αυτό τό τρόπο καταλαβαίνουμε ότι δέν είμαστε γιά τόν κόσμο αυτόν τής αμαρτίας καί σάν Εκκλησία γινόμαστε τόπος τής Θεοφανείας. Η ευχή καί προσευχή μας είναι όλοι μας νά ετοιμασθούμε σωστά αυτόν τόν μήνα γιά τήν είσοδό μας στήν Μεγάλη Τεσσαρακοστή. Αμήν. Μέ αγάπη εν Χριστώ, π. Μιχαήλ Ε. Βαρβαρέλης Προϊστάμενος

6 THE SOURCE FEBRUARY 2017 Page 6 Dear Holy Trinity Parishioners: A NOTE FROM THE PARISH COUNCIL I'd like to congratulate the new/re-elected members of Parish Council and our Executive Committee. I pray that God guides us to use good judgement and gives us strength to do His work. Now that we are into February, our preparation for our 2017 Festival has started. WE NEED YOU! I believe 2017 will be a tremendous year for our Festival - not because of financial results, but because I believe all of you will step forward to ensure we can enjoy the experience of serving so many guests and sharing our traditions, food and faith. What can you do? 1. Sign up - declare your intention. Let the committee chairs and organizers know when, where and for how long you'll be able to help. 2. Step up - we need people to own responsibilities and see things to completion. There are many projects and duties that need people to say "I'll take responsibility to make sure it gets done" 3. Show up - the Festival is not just 3 days in May. Check the baking schedule in the Source. Take a 1/2 day vacation from work and come into the Church to help. No baking experience needed! 4. Cheer up - not everything will be done the way you like or the way you would run it if you were the chairperson. Leading is a difficult job. Do the best you can to CHEERFULLY do your work and give encouragement to those who have taken the responsibility to lead. See you in church! Yours in Christ, George J. All are welcome to come and see our children recite their poems and sing their songs. A fellowship with refreshments will be held afterwards. **GODPARENT/GODCHILD SUNDAY will be held on Sunday, Feb. 12 th. We ask that all Godparents come with their Godchildren for Holy Communion that day and afterwards celebrate in the Hall all together. Philoptochos is planning a luncheon following the Divine Liturgy. Tickets are on sale in the Hall; Adults $15, Children 4 12 $5 and children 3 and under are free. Please make your plans early. All tickets will be sold in advance and all seats reserved. Your ticket is your reservation. Deadline to buy tickets is Tuesday, February 7 th. **Saturday of Souls will be held this year on Saturdays, February 18 th and 25 th and March 4 th. We ask that you bring a small bowl of kollyva and also give the names of your deceased, beloved, family members for the Memorial Service which is held towards the end of the Divine Liturgy. **Save the Week: Greek Summer Camp 2017 will be offered again this year on Monday, June 12 th through Friday, June 16 th. Please mark the dates and we ask that the children from our Community participate in this very exciting program which enlightens our Greek culture, Greek language and Greek identity through teaching, music, iconography, games, dancing and fun. 9 THE SOURCE FEBRUARY 2017 Page 9 YOUTH MINISTRIES SUNDAY SCHOOL The Oratorical Festival will take place on February 26 th. A flyer will be sent home with the students in 7 th to 12 th grade. Mr. Peter Pavlis on Sunday, January 8 th spoke to the students in grades 7 th to 12 th grades about the Oratorical Festival and the topics and how to prepare a topic. Parents please encourage your child to participate. The lower grades will take Sunday, February 19 th in their Sunday School class to do a writing or drawing project pertaining to an appropriate topic for their age. This hopefully will introduce them to expressing self in a topic pertaining to church or their faith. Parents we encourage continuity in your child/children attendance in Sunday School. The lessons have a sequence and irregular attendance they may miss the meat of the lessons. Learning is like building a stairway-step by step. Everyone is invited to celebrate with us to honor our Saints and also support our school. PARISH MINISTRIES PHILOPTOCHOS We would like to thank all the women who prepared Vasilopita for our Community Vasilopita Brunch. The youth at Saint Basil s Academy will greatly benefit from our Vasilopita Donations. We thank all who attended, the choir for singing the Kalanda, the food preparations, the setting up of the Social Hall and the cleaning up. The Coffee Servers have been doing a nice job. If you are interest in helping with Sunday Coffee Hour please contact Thana Ward. The months of January and February Philoptochos will be collecting used (in good condition) or new blankets for the Homeless/Needy. There will be a basket in the Social Hall labeled Blankets for the Homeless to place the blankets that are donated. The December Food Drive for the Needy collect over 600 pounds of food that was delivered to Bethesda Mission, C.A.R.E.S., Project Share, New Life Hope Ministries, and a few local needy families. Thank you to all who donated from our Holy Trinity Community. REMINDER: Philoptochos Membership/Stewardship is still being collected. Please see our Membership Chairperson Maria Peslis to give your Stewardship donation. GODPARENT SUNDAY WILL BE HELD ON FEBRUARY 12 TH AFTER THE DIVINE LITURGY IN THE SOCIAL HALL. We welcome ALL help (women, men, and youth) and any time that you can give. Philoptochos will be having a TSOUREKI SALE. Orders for a Tsoureki will begin on March 19 th. The Eastern Easter and the Western Easter are both observed on the same day this year April 16 th. A Tsoureki may make a thoughtful gift for friends, neighbors, or co-workers. Remember ordering begins on March 19 th. NEXT MEETING: TUESDAY-FEBRUARY 21, 2017 AT 6:45 PM IN THE PHILOPTOCHOS ROOM. Joachim and Anna Society will be on Tuesday, February 7, The meeting will start at 11:00 AM with a short business meeting, a luncheon and an informational presentation. The hosts for the luncheon will be Betsy Boutselis and Stephanie Kaldes. Our meeting s speaker will be Dorothy King. She will be giving a presentation on the Saturday Evening Girls who are a group of immigrant artists and scholars who are involved in numerous educational and commercial activities. Membership in the Sts. Joachim and Anna Society is offered to all parishioners who are aged 55 and older. All semi-retired and retired parishioners are encouraged to attend our monthly meetings and participate in our trips and activities. We look forward to your participation and fellowship. CHURCH LENDING LIBRARY The church library contains information about Orthodoxy and Greece for you and your children. If you would like to borrow a book, sign the blue notebook, fill in name, date and name of book and when you return it, be sure to list the date you are returning it by your original sign in. Also, some of the books haven't been returned to our library; please check your books and return Holy Trinity's books for the use of your fellow parishioners. Thank you. HOLY TRINITY BOOKS & GIFTS Our Nativity and Christmas offerings have been put away for another year. We thank everyone who stopped in to purchase an ornament or Christmas card. In a few months, we will be restocking items specifically for Pascha and Easter. Be sure to think of us for your seasonal needs. If you have not been in the bookstore, you should make it a priority in 2017 to stop in and see what we have to offer. We provide books to increase your understanding of our Orthodox faith and practices. We also provide additional items such as icons, censers, charcoal and incense for your household use. All proceeds from the bookstore either go directly back into the bookstore or into the parish. Holy Trinity Books and Gifts normal operating hours are following the Divine Liturgy on Sunday, Thursdays from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and the first Tuesday of the Month from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. CONCERNED MOTHERS GROUP The goal of the group is to foster spiritual dialogue among mothers in our community in regard to raising our children in an Orthodox Christian home. AHEPA CHAPTER #64 OF HARRISBURG, PA Our Ahepa Chapter wishes to thank Brother Ted Kalathas for hosting our Annual Winter Dinner-Meeting at his establishment Theo's Bar & Grille in Camp Hill, Pa. Our enthusiastic group was treated to an action packed night of fellowship, fine dining, and an excellent oratorical speech on "The Psychology of Winning" by Coach George Chaump of legendary fame in the Harrisburg area. This speaker was an integral part of Harrisburg's football history and especially exciting for Ahepa Brothers Jim Stamos and Sam Boutselis who played football for Coach Chaump on John Harris High Schools record breaking seasons in the mid-60's. Coach Chaump went on to coach both professional and college teams in his remarkable career. Our brethren also looks forward to an excellent year full of wonderful events and activities for fellowship, fun, and philanthropy. Some of the events that we look forward to include our representation at the March 25th Greek Independence Commemorations at our Cathedral and at The Capitol, our participation at the Cathedral Festival, the Ahepa Day Memorial Tribute, and the Scholarship Sunday activities. We again are looking forward to various other events decided upon at our upcoming meetings. We are dedicated to both our brotherhood and our community affairs.

Both the Merit Scholarships and the General Scholarships will be awarded to qualified recipients. Merit recipients will receive a minimum $1, and General Scholarship recipients will receive a minimum of $500. Please note that the scholarship is renewable four times, and does not have to be in consecutive years. Requirements are: 1.) That you, your parents, or your grandparents are either a steward or stewards of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Camp Hill, Pa; or you are a child of an Ahepan Brother who is listed in good standing of the AHEPA Chapter #64. 2.) That you are a high school senior about to graduate and apply for acceptance to an accredited institution of higher learning; a student continuing his or her education in an institution of higher learning; or an applicant who is applying to a trade school/vocational school or continuing in such an institution. 3.) That you COMPLETE and submit the AHEPA Scholarship application BY THE DUE DATE! 4.) That you submit an official transcript from your high school or institution of higher education. Would you like to participate in the most successful program of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese? Starting in February, our parish will once again be part of the National Oratorical Festival sponsored by the Archdiocese. Being a part of this program will help you to discover the fullness of the Orthodox Faith. This program will strengthen your understanding and appreciation of being a Greek Orthodox Christian. The first step of the festival is our parish festival. This year the parish festival will take place on Sunday, February 26, The festival will take place after liturgy. At that time, there will be a luncheon for all the participants and their families. After lunch, the festival will begin with the participants speeches. The judges will select 2 participants from each division to participate in the district festival in April. There will be prize money for the top winners. However, your biggest reward is to have the opportunity to inspire, challenge and lead others in an uplifting way, just as St. John Chrysostom did over 1500 years ago. There are two divisions, Junior (7 th -9 th grade) and the Senior division (10 th -12 th grade). Topics are on the back of this page. Although many people diet for health or vanity, the discipline of fasting is found in many religious traditions. What is the difference between dieting and fasting, and why is it important? 3. Psalms are an integral part of matins, vespers, and many other Church services. Talk about a psalm that impacts or influences your life. 4. The Lord commanded us not to create idols (Exodus 20:4), yet people continue to do so. Discuss the kinds of idols people make or worship today and the response that an Orthodox Christian should have when confronted by them. 5. Jesus said, Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar s, and to God the things that are God s (Matthew 22:21). When no political party represents genuine Christian teaching, how does an Orthodox Christian navigate political conversations and make political judgments?

Presently, almost 50% of our Church s annual budget income comes from the Festival. The need is clear. Everyone who can get involved, should get involved. We need to share the burden of this annual undertaking for our community to thrive & continue to succeed. On behalf of the Holy Trinity Parish Council Stewardship Committee, we want to again THANK all who have contributed not only their financial offering, but especially their time and talent as we are seeing more and more involvement and help in our Church. We are pleased to report that we wrapped up our 2016 Stewardship drive at an all-time high, close to $300,000, which is just under our 2016 Budget. As reported, our 2017 Stewardship Budget was approved by the General Assembly in December to be $345,000 for this new year based on the approved increase of 15%, or $45,000. However, when considering our church operating costs continue to increase moderately (ie. our newly approved 2017 Operating Budget of $640,000), we will need to continue to work very hard in order to reduce the amount that we rely on from our Annual Festival. Therefore, it is clear that we must all work together in order to hit our 2017 Stewardship goal. As an example, for a family offering $1,000 for Stewardship, we are asking you to consider a 15% increase of your 2017 pledge by $150, or approximately $3 per week. We know that not all families can do this, so we are reaching out to those who God has blessed in abundance. Please help by doing your part to increase your Stewardship contributions. In 2016 we had almost 20 families pledge $2,500 or more with 5 of them at $5,000 or more. We'd like to continue to see those who have been blessed continue to commit at these levels and more. Again, please do your part to increase your contributions to ensure that we reach our $340,000 Stewardship goal for the 2017 year! Giving online is easy and allows you to set up automatic recurring contributions and to view your complete online giving history from anywhere you have access to the Internet. Simply follow these easy steps: Visit the church website at Click on the ONLINE GIVING button. Click on the CREATE PROFILE button. Follow the onscreen instructions to create an online profile and to schedule your recurring contributions. You will be prompted to enter your annual pledge amount and then choose the frequency with which you would like to pay it (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually). If you enter your pledge amount online, you do not need to return the paper to the office with that amount. These 2017 stewardship payments will not begin until January If you would like to make an additional payment to 2016 stewardship, you can do so at the bottom of the page where it gives you an option to make a one-time contribution without adding a pledge amount. Additionally, there will be a button on our website called DONATE. You can use this button to donate online for memorials, general donations, Christmas offering, Easter offering, Saturday of Souls offering, Christmas flowers, and Easter flowers. ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΑ ΝΕΟΛΑΙΑΣ ΚΑΤΗΧΗΤΙΚΟ ΣΧΟΛΕΙΟ Το Ρητορικο Φεστιβαλ θα γινει την Κυριακη 26 Φεβρουαριου. Τα παιδια της 7ης -12ης Ταξης θα παρουν τις πληροφοριες. Ο Κος Παυλιδης μιλησε στα παιδια της 7ης- 12ης Ταξης για Φεστιβαλ στις 8 Ιανουαριου. Παρακαλουμε τους γονεις να ενθαρρυνουν τα παιδια τους να λαβουν μερος. ΒΙΒΛΙΟΘΗΚΗ Η Βιβλιοθηκη της εκκλησιας διαθετει βιβλια για την Ορθοδοξια και την Ελλαδα για παιδια και μεγαλους. Μπορειτε να δανειστειτε βιβλια υπογραφοντας βιβλιο οταν επιστρεψετε τα βιβλια. Μερικα βιβλια δεν εχουν επιστραφει στην βιβλιοθηκη, σας παρακαλουμε να τα επιστρεψετε συντομα. ΒΙΒΛΙΟΠΩΛΕΙΟ Ευχαριστουμε ολους που επισκεφτηκαν το Βιβλιοπωλειο και αγορασαν αντικειμενα για τα Χριστουγεννα. Δεν υπαρχει συνδρομη για να γινετε μελη σας παροτρυνουμε να γινετε μελη του προγραμματος της Χριστιανικης Οικονομιας της Κοινοτητας μας. Ομιλητης ηταν ο Προπονητης του Φουτμπωλ Τζωρτζ Τσαμπ με θεμα «Η Ψυχολογια της Νικης» δυο μελη της Αχεπα ο Τζιμ Σταμος και ο Σαμ Μπουτσελης ηταν στην ομαδα του προπονητη Τσαμπ. Επερχομενα γεγονοτα που θα λαβουν μερος τα μελη της Αχεπα ειναι η επισκεψη στο Καπιτωλιο για την Επετειο της 25 ης Μαρτιου, στο Φεστιβαλ της Κοινοτητας μας, Υποτροφιες. Οι επομενες συγκεντρωσεις θα γινουν στην εκκλησια μας στο Δωματιο της Αχεπα 15 Φεβρουαριου- 6:00μ.μ. U.S. POSTAGE PAID Harrisburg, PA Permit No ADVERTISING IN THE SOURCE In an effort to contain printing costs for monthly newsletters, many churches have turned to paid advertisements in their publications. Parish Council has agreed to adopt this funding source for our monthly publication. Doing this would help lessen and possibly erase the expense of publishing the Source. We now have availability for two pages of paid ads in our monthly Source. The ad price will represent a year of advertising or 11 issues as we combine the June and July Source into one issue. Ads are sold by the block. There will be room for 24 ads or blocks per page. You may purchase more than one block for increased space and presentation. The cost of one ad block is $125 per year, and subsequent blocks would be an additional $100 per block. For example, a business card ad would equal two blocks and would cost $225. Camera ready ads are appreciated but not required. Please help us promote this program. If you own or work for a business that may be interested in advertising in our Source which is sent out to over 600 families, please contact Mary in the church office. If you know of a business that may be a potential advertiser, please pass on a contact and phone number. Examples of businesses that may be interested in advertising could be Greek bands, importers, baptismal supplies/clothing stores, and jewelers specializing in crosses. Other possibilities could be lawyers, accountants, real estate agents, etc. The only ads we cannot accept are ones pertaining to credit cards, travel, or insurance. Please contact the church office as soon as possible if interested in this program.
