Mass Intentions Please Pray for Calendar Club Winners From your Pastor s Desk Fr. Mike Eckley A Happy and Blessed Easter to All (St. Augusne, Bishop and Doctor, d. 430). As we celebrate the Resurrecon of Our Lord, our whole lives are to reflect our faith in the Risen Lord. Each acon we take, each word we speak is to reflect the peace and joy of the Resurrecon which is to be in our hearts. The early usually responds in a like manner. The mutual greeng is usually accompanied by a handshake. In the Early Church, the greeng extended to one another was an other would respond, It is true, Alleluia! This many mes would be accompanied with a kiss of peace. So integrated was their faith in the resurrecon into their daily life that even their greeng to one another reflected this faith. For us to truly integrate the joy and peace of the resurrecon into our own lives and the Beloved Disciple arrive at the tomb they go in to the empness. We are and he saw and believed. He saw nothing tangible. All he saw was empness, yet, journeys take us in many different direcons. We encounter many struggles, obstacles, losses, and difficules. We can very easily lose our direcon and lose peace and filled with joy. This is impossible without regularly praying, reflecng on and strengthen our faith and there is no beer way to do that than to pray, reflect losses and difficules of life will not end. We need the Lord present in our lives to Paul and the other disciples formed Chrisan Communies (Churches) for the people faith through common worship (Eucharist). If we are truly to integrate Resurrecon generaon Chrisans showed us the way. Parish Fesval: This year our Parish Fesval will be on Sunday, June 3rd. On Food Truck and beverages. Plan now to aend.
