Hellenic Society the 4th of March, 2013 London, Monday Press Release Philanthropy Gala Making a difference 1500 miles away The Hellenic Society of would like to announce that it is organizing a large Philanthropy Gala to take place on the 13th of this month, right at the heart of London with complimentary canapé reception. The aim of this event will be to gather a large amount of economical support for the Greek "SOS Children's Villages". This event is the continuation of the effort we undertook nearly a month ago. At that time, our Society took the initiative to participate in a big competition run by Barclays, in which the top 3 contestants were awarded 1000 each. We managed to win the third place with 2700 votes and win the 1000 for the "SOS Children's Villages" with it. Now, being true to the promise, we are bringing it to life, organizing a large philanthropy gala to further support the villages and make the difference. The ticket is 5 and all proceeds go to our charity. Additional donations made by our guests during the event will be added to the total donated amount. Our Committee and the representatives of the Greek "SOS Children's Villages" are asking for the fullest support of anyone wishing to empower our effort, anyone wishing to aid the "SOS Children's Villages". Hellenic Society Λονδίνο, 4 Μαρτίου 2013 ΔΕΛΤΙΟ ΤΥΠΟΥ Φιλανθρωπικό Gala Making a difference 1,500 miles away Ο Ελληνικός Σύλλογος Φοιτητών του βρίσκεται στην ευχάριστη θέση να σας γνωστοποιήσει - ανακοινώσει με το παρόν ότι την 13η Μαρτίου, ημέρα Τετάρτη, θα διοργανώσει στο κέντρο του Λονδίνου μία μεγάλη εκδήλωση με φιλανθρωπικό σκοπό, με δωρεάν canapés. Ο σκοπός της εκδήλωσης είναι η συγκέντρωση μεγάλου ποσού χρηματικής ενίσχυσης για τα "Παιδικά Χωριά SOS" στην Ελλάδα. Η εκδήλωση αυτή είναι η κορύφωση μίας προσπάθειας που ξεκίνησε πριν από ένα μήνα. Τότε, με πρωτοβουλία μελών του Δ.Σ. μας, ο Σύλλογός μας δήλωσε συμμετοχή σε έναν μεγάλο διαγωνισμό γνωστής Αγγλικής τράπεζας με έπαθλο 1000 λίρες (1200 Ευρώ). Μετά από μεγάλο αγώνα, η συμμετοχή μας ήρθε τρίτη με 2700 ψήφους και κατέκτησε το χρηματικό έπαθλο το οποίο έχει ήδη κατατεθεί στα "Παιδικά Χωριά SOS". Τώρα, τηρώντας την δέσμευση που είχαμε αναλάβει όταν δηλώσαμε συμμετοχή, διοργανώνουμε αυτό το φιλανθρωπικό gala για να ενισχύσουμε τα "Παιδικά Χωριά SOS" ακόμη περισσότερο και να κάνουμε την διαφορά. To εισητήριο είναι 5, ώστε όλοι να μπορούν να συνεισφέρουν. Επιπλέον δωρεές των παρευρισκομένων την ώρα της εκδήλωσης θα ενισχύσουν το τελικό χρηματικό ποσό της δωρεάς. Το Δ.Σ. του Ελληνικού Συλλόγου και οι αντιπρόσωποι των "Παιδικών Χωριών SOS" θα περιμένουν εκεί την στήριξη όποιου επιθυμεί να ενισχύσει αυτή την προσπάθεια, δηλαδή ουσιαστικά όποιου επιθυμεί να στηρίξει τα "Παιδικά Χωριά SOS".
