Department of Biology,Hengshui College,Hebei Hengshui 053000,China) Abstract :DNA molecular marking technology wit h st rong specificity,reliability and sensitivit y lead to great progress in identification of Chinese herbal medicine. The techniques including RFL P, RAPD,AFL P and DNA sequencing have been extensively studied and great achievements have been acquired in the field. The principles and characteristics and t he most advances in application of t hese techniques in recent years are discussed. Furthermore,great future of these techniques is discussed.
