Led Indicators On the top panel of your ADSL2+ Router, you can find the following led indicators. Please review below the description of each led (Picture 1). Connectors At the back of the Router there are three types of connectors (Picture 2). Connection & Settings Follow each STEP carefully and move on to the next only once you have completed the previous one. STEP 1 Router Connection 7
8-9 15x10 κλειστό 30x10 ανοιχτό PSTN Line If you have a PSTN telephone line (simple analog line), connect the Router as shown below (Picture 3). Αν στην ίδια πρίζα χρησιμοποιείτε τηλεφωνική συσκευή, συνδέστε το καλώδιο του διαχωριστή στην πρίζα του σπιτιού σας. Συνδέστε το γκρι τηλεφωνικό καλώδιο RJ-11 στη θύρα γκρι χρώματος του διαχωριστή και την άλλη άκρη του τηλεφωνικού καλωδίου στη θύρα γκρι χρώματος του ADSL2+ Router. Α. Β. Συνδέστε ένα τηλεφωνικό καλώδιο RJ-11 στη θύρα μαύρου χρώματος του διαχωριστή και την άλλη άκρη του καλωδίου στην τηλεφωνική σας συσκευή. 9
8-9 15x10 κλειστό 30x10 ανοιχτό ΓΡΑΜΜΗ PSTN Εάν έχετε PSTN τηλεφωνική γραμμή (απλή αναλογική γραμμή), συνδέστε το Router όπως φαίνεται παρακάτω (Eικόνα 3). Εικόνα 3 8 1 2 3 Connect the yellow Ethernet RJ-45 cable from the Ethernet port of your computer to one of the 3 Ethernet ports of your ADSL2+ Router. ATTENTION: The port with STB indication is used only for a Set-Top-Box (STB) connection, which is required for OTE's television service through Internet. A. Connect the grey RJ-11 telephone cable from your home telephone line socket to the grey port of your ADSL2+ Router. B. If you are using a telephone set in the same socket, connect the splitter cable to your home telephone line socket. Connect one end of the grey RJ-11 telephone cable to the grey port of your splitter and the other end to the grey port of your ADSL2+ Router. Α. Β. Connect one end of an RJ-11 telephone cable to the black port of your splitter and the other end to your telephone set. 9
10-11 15x10 κλειστό 30x10 ανοιχτό If there are other telephone sets in other sockets inside the house, you will need to place a filter between these sets and the telephone line socket. Connect your telephone set to the filter and the filter to the telephone line socket. ΓΡΑΜΜΗ ISDN Εάν έχετε ISDN τηλεφωνική γραμμή, συνδέστε το Router όπως φαίνεται παρακάτω (Εικόνα 4). Note: If your telephone network is connected to any device (alarm, call center, etc.), you should use an additional ADSL filter or splitter. Please address a specialized installation crew for this activity. 4 Connect the power supply device to the power connector of your ADSL2+ Router, push the power switch of your ADSL2+ Router to the ON position and wait for 2 minutes before moving on to the next step. Συνδέστε την τηλεφωνική σας συσκευή με το φίλτρο και το φίλτρο με την πρίζα. ISDN Line If you have an ISDN telephone line, connect the Router as shown below (Picture 4). 1 2 Connect the yellow Ethernet RJ-45 cable from the Ethernet port of your computer to one of the 3 Ethernet ports of your ADSL2+ Router. Unplug the telephone RJ-11 cable from your home telephone line socket and plug it into the black port of your splitter. 12

STEP 2 Internet Configuration 14
Internet Configuration 1 2 3 Insert the installation CD in your CD-ROM drive. The CD should start automatically, displaying the window shown in the picture. If the CD does not start automatically, go to Windows Explorer, choose the CD-ROM drive, and double click on setup.exe. Choose the language (Greek or English) and press OK to continue. 15

Internet Configuration 6 Accept the Conn-x General Terms and Conditions, by clicking on the box near the text «Έχω διαβάσει και αποδέχομαι τους όρους», and then press Next. 18

Internet Configuration 8 Enter the word "admin" as User name and as Password the code that you will find on the label at the bottom panel of the Router or on the CD envelope and then press OK. 20
Internet Configuration 9 and Confirm Password, In the field User name, enter the User name, and, in the fields Password enter the Password, credentials that have been provided to you during Conn-x purchase. Press Next. Note: The User name should be followed by @otenet.gr (username@otenet.gr) 21

STEP 3 Establish a Wireless Connection 25
Establish a Wireless Connection To establish a wireless connection to the Internet, you will need to have installed on your computer a WiFi USB stick or a wireless network card and to have completed the previous Step (Internet Configuration). To simplify the installation process, it is recommended to use the factory default settings. You can later change your settings through the wireless network settings menu (review the user's manual which is included in the CD). In case the below settings do not appear on your computer, review the user's manual of your WiFi USB stick or your wireless network card. 1 Double click on the wireless network icon on your computer to search for a wireless network. 26
Establish a Wireless Connection The name of the wireless network matches the SSID name you will find on the label at the bottom panel of your ADSL2+ Router. 2Click on the wireless network that corresponds to the SSID name and then press Connect. 27
Establish a Wireless Connection 3 Enter the wireless network key (WPA) that you will find on the label at the bottom panel of your ADSL2+ Router by the name WPA. Press Connect or Apply. 28
Access the Router Interface 1 2 If you wish to connect to your ADSL2+ Router interface, go to Internet Explorer and type http://192.168.1.1. In the window that appears, enter the username (default is admin) and the password that you will find on the label at the bottom panel of your ADSL2+ Router. 29
Enable/Disable Wireless Network and Reset Router To disable the wireless network, press the wireless button at the front of the Router constantly, for approximately 10 seconds, until the Wireless led turns off. To enable the wireless network, press the same button again for approximately 10 seconds until the Wireless led turns on. If you need to reset the Router to factory default settings, make sure that the Router is turned on and press the Reset button at the back of the Router until the Power led turns red. 30
Change User name & Password for Internet Access 1 In case you want to change your User name and Password (you can change your User name only once whereas you can change your Password as many times as you want), open your Internet Explorer and in the address bar type: http://www.oteshop.gr/myservices/myid. 31
2 In the page that appears, under MY e-services or Internet Services Administration, press "Change of conn-x username and password" and then follow the instructions. 32
3 If you change your User name or Password, repeat Step 2 (Internet Configuration). Note: The equipment has one (1) year of guarantee from the date of its purchase. 33
