1. (a) Translate the following passage into English. 2 *N35907A0212*

(b) Translate the following passage into English. 4 *N35907A0412*

2. Translate the following passage into Modern Greek. Once upon a time young people, girls in particular, wrote about their lives, their problems and secrets in diaries. Nowadays, many teenage boys and girls use blogs to communicate with each other, but also to reveal personal details, which, not only their friends, but the whole world can read! Parents and teachers try to warn students against giving out telephone numbers or addresses, but there are some who think that blogs are not necessarily a bad thing. Anita Brown, mother of two teenage boys, is certainly one of them. It used to be so difficult trying to get my sons to write an essay of 200 words and now, here they are, writing blogs of 1.000 words about everything: their school day, their everyday lives, their plans for the future, their thoughts on the environment, even politics! It seems that some teachers too have found blogs useful in order to improve writing skills and to make students share ideas or comment on each other s homework................................................. 6 *N35907A0612*

(d) Έχει αλλάξει ο θεσμός της οικογένειας στη χώρα σου από την εποχή των παππούδων σου; Πώς; Or (e) Write an email to a friend, in Modern Greek, of about 200 words, that begins with the phrase: «Σου γράφω για να ζητήσω τη συμβουλή σου σχετικά μ ένα πρόβλημα που με απασχολεί...».
