Στα πλαίσια υλοποίησης του πολιτιστικού προγράμματος «Γνωρίζοντας τους γείτονές μας» για την μελέτη των πολιτιστικών στοιχείων των δύο λαών και την διαπίστωση ομοιοτήτων/διαφορών, ζητήθηκε από τους μαθητές να καταγράψουν τις κοινές δραστηριότητές τους με τα μέλη της οικογένειάς τους, και να τις δημοσιεύσουν στην ομάδα συνεργασίας του προγράμματος στην ιστοσελίδα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης. Από τα σχόλια που προέκυψαν το κυριακάτικο οικογενειακό τραπέζι, ανάμεσα στα άλλα, είναι το κοινό σημείο αναφοράς στους δύο λαούς.
Student: Εύα Νιαβή With my family we usually go to the cinema and watch movies with social meanings or we eat out at a restaurant all together. When we have holidays we go to our village and spend time together. We like to talk about everything that s going on like political matters, science, whatever concerns our family etc. Moreover we spend the weekends together; sometimes at home and sometimes on a trip. Me and my brother, when we have time, we love to play board games usually of mystery and knowledge.
Student: Στέλλα Λεπενίτσα I like shopping with my mother. We go shopping together when I want to buy clothes. I ask for her advice and I usually like her choices. I enjoy a lot these moments.:-)
Student: Βασιλική Καρκάλου Every Sunday my family gathers and we eat lunch together. We enjoy it because we can talk about how we spend our week, what happened at school or at work. We often say jokes and laugh with each. Moreover we exchange ideas, plans and we consult one another
Student: Παναγιώτα Κωνσταντινοπούλου The holiest of all holidays for Greeks is Orthodox Easter. After 40-days of religious fasting, on Easter Sunday the spits are set to work, and grills are fired up. The customary main attraction of the day is whole roasted lamb or goat (kid) to represent the Lamb of God, however many prefer oven and stovetop lamb or kid dishes. Ovens are filled with traditional accompaniments and all the trimmings. Great Greek wines, ouzo, and other drinks flow freely, and preparations for the meal turn into festive celebrations even before the eating begins. We also eat boiled eggs painted red. But before the eggs are eaten, there's a traditional challenge: "tsougrisma." Holding your egg, you tap the end against the end of your opponent's egg, trying to crack it. It's a game that my family and I enjoy a lot!
Student: Χαρά Κλεφτογιάννη Almost every Saturday my sister, my 2 cousins and I go to a nearby cafeteria. We are fancy doing this, because we discuss about our problems, we are joking and of course we advice each other. It is one of my best activities because from this conversation we are able to solve the problems we are facing and make our life better
Student: Χρήστος Κυπαρίσσης One of the best things for me is to spend time with my family because I can see them to discuss with them and we do a lot of things together. For example, at Christmas and in summer, we travel together around Greece in cities like Kastoria, Karditsa, Ioannina, Florina or Greek islands.
Student: Σουζάνα Τσάλα My family has five members: my father, my mother, my brother my sister and of course me. We all have a good relationship with each other and we re not fighting.. In weekdays we don t have any time to be together because everyone has got their own schedule. On Sundays we enjoy going to the Church. Since my father is a priest we have an extra reason for it
Student: Τσαμπουνάρη Άρτεμις All families have some special things the do together but mine doesn t. I have some special things that I do with members of my family. On Sundays my grandma cooks the whole morning so I sneak into her kitchen and I let her teach me her techniques. From her I have learnt to make the most delicious recipes and the most favorite of the family. I do that in order to be able to make them when I am hungry. So, every time I and my father are hungry we cook together; it s a really special thing we do together. It s the most exhausting and at the same time remarkable thing we do; those memories are unique!
Student: Νζακώστα Κέλλυ Something that I and my family like to do is that every weekend we go out for excursions. We prefer spots at the country side of Athens near the sea. We start on Sunday mornings, while on the way we enjoy seeing the surroundings and when we arrive we spend our time walking, eating traditional food and having fun. This is the best way to relax after a busy week!!
Student: Σωτηρία Ζαμάνου Every Sunday at noon we eat together delicious foods and in the afternoon we play board games. Except frοm that, we like sitting together each one with his/her own computer on the couch and play games :)
My family has a really long tradition in playing music, singing and dancing. The activity that I like doing with my family and especially with my grandmother is dancing. When we eat altogether on Sundays or in celebrations, my grandma teaches me how to dance folk dances. Some of our favorite are: Zeimpekiko, Hasapiko, Sirtaki. My grandma not only is a good dancer at this kind of dances, she is also teaching me as well. I do my best and I wish someday I will be as good as she is! Student: Μαρίνος Μπουλούτης
I regret to say that my family and I do not share many common activities, because unfortunately we cannot find enough common time. The only time of the week we manage to be all of us together is Sunday. Then we have lunch and dinner all together and we talk about whatever interesting happened to us during the week and maybe we will watch a nice movie at night. Sometimes I manage to find some time to talk with my father (especially when there is a good football match on TV) and we find the chance to discuss about different subjects.
