Call for Papers 7 th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE STANDARDIZATION, PROTYPES AND QUALITY: A MEANS OF BALKAN COUNTRIES COLLABORATION June 8-9, 2010, Zlatibor, Serbia This Conference will be an excellent opportunity to continue contacts between scientists and specialists from all Balkan countries, in order to exchange their experience and knowledge relevant to the potentialities of standardization, protypes as well as quality. International practice has proved standardization and related activities to be an ideal way to coordination and harmonization on production and distribution of goods that is to the development as a whole. Therefore, the purpose of this conference is to facilitate the collaboration between Balkan countries through all issues related with standardization, protypes and quality. TOPICS The scope of 7th International conference Standardization, protypes and quality: a means of Balkan countries collaboration includes the following topics: Standards and Quality: in Society, Management and Economy in Services in Education in Health Care in Environment in Production and in Logistics in IT sector in Food, Goods and consumers in Constructions in Agriculture in Measurements-Tests and Controls in Accreditation and Certification other related topics Special Topic: Standards and how to teach about them? The general aim of the call for papers on special topic: Standards and how to teach about them - is to encourage participants, university teachers, consultants and professionals to share their experiences, ideas and practices in all fields and disciplines in which standards are part of educational content. How do we teach about standards? How do we want to teach about standards in an exciting and effective way? What are the benefits of and obstacles to effective teaching about standards? We invite you to submit your papers on this topic and to attend in order to
share your experiences, ideas and practices. PAPER SUBMISSION Participants, who wish to present a paper relative to the above topics, should send an abstract (200-300 words) to the conference e-mail: bcconference@fon.rs. The submitted abstract should include the name(s) of the author(s), as well as his/her (their) affiliation (including e-mail address, postal address, telephone number, fax number etc). After the notification of acceptance, authors are requested to send also full scale paper (using paper template form) until 25th April, 2010. Full scale papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings (ISBN publication) after reviewing and accepting. CONFERENCE LANGUAGES The language of the Conference is English. PRESENTATION The Conference may include invited lectures, oral presentations, poster sessions and workshops on specialized topics. REGISTRATION Those who wish to attend the Conference are kindly requested to fill in the attached Registration Form (including paper authors) and send it (by regular mail, e-mail or fax) to the Conference Secretariat together with a photocopy of payment not later than May 15, 2010.
