7 Les accessoires, contenus dans le modèle que vous venez d acheter, sont représentés sur l étiquette située sur le dessus de l emballage. 8 jamais les doigts, ni une fourchette, une cuillère, un couteau ou tout autre objet. - Manipulez le couteau hachoir, le couteau du bol mixer, du moulin fines-herbes et les disques coupe-légumes avec précaution : ils sont extrêmement tranchants. Vous devez obligatoirement retirer le couteau hachoir (d) par son entraîneur (c) avant de vider le bol de son contenu. - N utilisez pas votre appareil à vide. - Utilisez toujours votre bol mixer (h3) avec son couvercle (h2). - Ne touchez jamais les pièces en mouvement, attendez l arrêt complet avant d enlever les accessoires. - N utilisez pas les accessoires comme récipient (congélation cuisson stérilisation à chaud). - Ne passez pas les accessoires dans un four à micro-ondes. - N utilisez jamais le pilon (h4) sans le couvercle du bol mixeur (h2) sinon il risque de toucher les lames. - Ne laissez pas pendre les cheveux longs, les écharpes, les cravates, etc au dessus du bol et des accessoires en fonctionnement. 8

Rincez et séchez. - Placez le bloc moteur (a) sur une surface plane, propre et sèche. - Branchez votre appareil. - «Pulse» (marche intermittente) : tournez le bouton (a3) sur la position «Pulse» par impulsions successives pour un meilleur contrôle de certaines préparations. - Marche continue : tournez le bouton (a3) sur la position «1» ou «2». - Arrêt : tournez le bouton (a3) sur la position «0». La numérotation des paragraphes est en correspondance avec la numérotation des schémas encadrés. 9

10 1 : MISE EN PLACE DU BOL HACHOIR ET DU COUVERCLE Accessoires utilisés : - Ensemble bol (b). Montage des accessoires : - Posez le bol (b3) sur le bloc moteur (a), la poignée du bol positionnée légèrement à droite du sélecteur de vitesse (a3). - Verrouillez le bol en le tournant vers la droite. - Placez l accessoire choisi dans celui- ci. - Posez le couvercle (b2) sur le bol. Verrouillez-le en le tournant vers la droite dans la poignée du bol. Il est impératif de verrouiller le bol (b3) sur le bloc moteur (a) avant de verrouiller le couvercle (b2). 2 : RETRAIT DU BOL HACHOIR ET DU COUVERCLE - Déverrouillez le couvercle (b2) en le tournant dans le sens des aiguilles d une montre afin de le libérer de la poignée du bol. Vous pourrez alors le soulever et le retirer. - Déverrouillez le bol en le tournant également dans le sens des aiguilles d une montre. - C est seulement à ce moment que vous pouvez le soulever et le retirer du bloc moteur. 3 : HACHER / MÉLANGER / PÉTRIR / MIXER - HACHER Accessoires utilisés : - Bol (b3). - Entraîneur (c). - Couteau hachoir inox (d). Montage des accessoires : - Posez le bol (b3) sur le bloc moteur (a) et verrouillez-le sur le socle. - Glissez le couteau hachoir (d) sur l entraîneur (c), et positionnez le tout sur la sortie bloc moteur (a1). - Mettez les ingrédients dans le bol. - Placez le couvercle (b2) et verrouillez- le sur le bol (b3). Mise en marche et conseils : - Tournez le sélecteur de vitesse (a3) sur la position «2» pour la mise en marche, ou pour un meilleur contrôle du hachage, préférez la position «Pulse». Vous pouvez hacher jusqu à 600g d aliments en 1min tels que : - viande crue ou cuite (désossée, dénervée et coupée en dés). - poissons crus ou cuits (sans peau et sans arête). 10

11 - produits durs : fromage, fruits secs, certains légumes (carottes, céleri...). - des produits tendres : certains légumes (oignons, épinards...). - Avant de vider le bol, retirer avec précaution le couteau hachoir (d), il est très affûté. - PÉTRIR / MÉLANGER Accessoires utilisés : - Bol (b3). - Entraîneur (c). - Couteau hachoir (d) ou couteau pétrin (e). Montage des accessoires : - Posez le bol (b3) sur le bloc moteur (a) et verrouillez-le sur le socle. - Glissez le couteau hachoir (d) ou le couteau pétrin (e) sur l entraîneur (c), et positionnez le tout sur la sortie bloc moteur (a1). - Mettez les ingrédients dans le bol. - Placez le couvercle (b2) et verrouillez- le sur le bol (b3). Mise en marche et conseils : - Tournez le sélecteur de vitesse (a3) sur la position «2» pour la mise en marche. Vous pouvez pétrir jusqu à : - 1Kg de pâte lourde, telle que : pâte à pain blanc, pâte brisée en 60s g de pâte à pains spéciaux tels que : pain de seigle, pain complet, pain aux céréales en 60s Vous pouvez mélanger jusqu à : - 1.2kg de pâte légère, telle que : biscuit, quatre-quarts, gâteau au yaourt en 1 min.30s à 3 min. Vous pouvez également mélanger jusqu à 1 litre de pâte à crêpes, à gaufres, etc. en 1 min. à 1 min MIXER - Tournez le sélecteur de vitesse (a3) sur la position 2 pour la mise en marche. Vous pouvez mixer jusqu à 1 litre de potage, soupe, compote en 45s. - Avant de vider le bol, retirer avec précaution le couteau hachoir (d), il est très affûté. 4 : RÂPER / TRANCHER Accessoires utilisés : - Bol (b3). - Entraîneur (c). - Disques coupe-légumes (g). 12 Montage des accessoires : - Posez le bol (b3) sur le bloc moteur (a) et verrouillez-le. - Verrouillez le disque coupe-légumes sur l entraineur (c) puis positionnez le tout sur la sortie bloc moteur (a1). - Placez le couvercle (b2) et verrouillez- le sur le bol (b3). Mise en marche et conseils : - Introduisez les aliments dans la cheminée du couvercle et guidez-les à l aide du poussoir (b1). - Tournez le sélecteur de vitesse (a3) sur position «1» pour trancher ou position «2» pour râper. Vous pouvez préparer avec les disques coupe-légumes jusqu'à 600g en 1min : - râpé gros (C) / râpé fin (A) : céleri- rave, pommes de terre, carottes, fromage... - tranché épais (H) / tranché fin (D) : pommes de terre, oignons, concombres, betteraves, pommes, carottes, choux... - coupe-frites (E) : frites - reibekuchen (G) : parmesan, pommes de terre - Avant de vider le bol, retirer avec précaution le disque coupe-légumes, il est très affûté. 5 : ÉMULSIONNER / BATTRE / FOUETTER Accessoires utilisés : - Bol (b3). - Disque émulsionneur (f). - Entraineur (c). Montage des accessoires : - Posez le bol (b3) sur le bloc moteur (a) et verrouillez-le sur le socle. - Glissez le disque émulsionneur (f) dans le bon sens, comme indiqué dans l image 5.a, et verrouillez-le sur l entraîneur (c), puis positionnez l ensemble sur la sortie bloc moteur (a1). - Mettez les ingrédients dans le bol. - Placez le couvercle (b2) et verrouillez- le sur le bol (b3). Mise en marche et conseils : - Tournez le sélecteur de vitesse (a3) sur la position «1» ou «2» pour la mise en marche. Vous pouvez préparer : mayonnaise, aïoli, sauces, blancs en neige (1 à 6), crème fouettée, chantilly (jusqu à 0,2L), en 30s à 3min. - N utilisez jamais ces accessoires pour pétrir des pâtes lourdes (pâtes à pain ) ou mélanger des pâtes légères (biscuits, quatre-quarts ). 12

13 6 : HOMOGÉNÉISER / MÉLANGER / MIXER TRÈS FINEMENT 6.1 Accessoires utilisés : - Ensemble bol mixer (h). Montage des accessoires : - Mettez les ingrédients dans le bol mixer (h3) sans dépasser le volume maximal de 1L. - Placez le couvercle (h2), muni du bouchon doseur (h1), et verrouillez-le en le tournant dans le sens des aiguilles d une montre. - Positionnez le bol mixer assemblé (h) sur le bloc moteur (a), la poignée face au sélecteur de vitesse. - Attendez l arrêt total du robot avant de retirer le bol mixer du bloc moteur. Mise en marche et conseils : - Tournez le sélecteur de vitesse (a3) sur la position «1» ou «2» pour la mise en marche. Temps d'utilisation maximum: 3 min. Vous pouvez utiliser la position «Pulse», pour un meilleur contrôle du mélange. - Ne remplissez jamais le bol mixer avec un liquide bouillant. - Utilisez toujours votre bol mixer avec son couvercle. - N utiliser jamais le bol mixer avec des produits secs uniquement (noisettes, amandes, cacahuètes ). - Versez toujours les ingrédients liquides en premier dans le bol avant d ajouter les ingrédients solides, sans dépasser le niveau maximal suivant : - 1L pour les mélanges épais. - 0,8 L pour les mélanges liquides. - Pour ajouter des ingrédients au cours du mélange, retirez le bouchon doseur (h1) du couvercle et versez les ingrédients par l orifice de remplissage. Conseils : - Lors du mélange, si des ingrédients restent collés aux parois du bol, arrêtez l appareil et débranchez-le. Retirez l ensemble bol mixer du corps de l appareil. A l aide de la spatule (l), faites tomber la préparation sur la lame. Ne mettez jamais les mains ou les doigts dans le bol ou à proximité de la lame. - Lorsque vous videz le bol, faites attention au couteau, il est très affûté. Vous pouvez : - préparer des potages finement mixés, des veloutés, des crèmes, des compotes, des milk-shakes, des cocktails. - mélanger toutes les pâtes fluides (crêpes, beignets, clafoutis, far). 6.2 Pour réaliser du lait de soja, des jus de fruits, des cocktails sans pépins ni peaux, vous pouvez utiliser le filtre à jus (h5). 13 FR

14 Pour cela, positionnez le filtre (h5) dans le bol mixer (h3), les grilles métalliques vers le bas, en vous assurant de placer les fentes du filtre sur les nervures intérieures du bol. - Placez le couvercle (h2-1) sur le bol mixer pour fixer le filtre. - Introduisez les aliments ou liquides dans le filtre par l'ouverture du bouchon doseur (h1-1). Replacez le bouchon doseur et tournez le sélecteur (a3) sur la position «1» ou «2» ou donnez quelques impulsions vers la position «Pulse». Conseil : Pour les jus de carottes ou de pommes, coupez les fruits en petits cubes et ajoutez une dose d eau. - Le pilon (h4) permet d homogénéiser et de tasser vos préparations (les plus épaisses notamment) dans le bol mixer. Pour cela, introduisez le pilon par l orifice central du couvercle du bol mixer (h2). En fonctionnement, poussez les aliments vers les lames à l aide du pilon. ATTENTION : N utilisez jamais le pilon (h4) sans le couvercle (h2) sinon il risque de toucher les lames. N utilisez pas votre pilon avec un autre accessoire. Vous pouvez verser directement vos préparations liquides sans enlever le couvercle (h2-1) par le filtre intégré au couvercle. Pour cela, tournez le couvercle sur la position filtre (fig 6-2b). 7 : HACHER TRES FINEMENT DES PETITES QUANTITES Accessoires utilisés : - Ensemble fines-herbes (i). Montage des accessoires : - Mettez les ingrédients dans le bol moulin fines-herbes (i2). - Placez le couvercle (i1) sur le bol moulin fines-herbes (i2) et verrouillez-le en tournant dans le sens des aiguilles d une montre. - Placez l ensemble sur le bloc moteur (a). Mise en marche et conseils : - Tournez le sélecteur de vitesse (a3) sur la position «2» pour la mise en marche, tout en maintenant le moulin fines-herbes sur le bloc moteur durant le fonctionnement. Vous pouvez utiliser la position «Pulse», pour un meilleur contrôle du mélange. - Avec le moulin fines-herbes (i) vous pouvez : - Hacher en quelques secondes : - ail, persil, oignon, biscottes (pour chapelure), jambon, Quantité/Temps maximum : 50g / 10s - abricots secs, figues sèches, pruneaux dénoyautés : Quantité/Temps maximum : 80g / 5s 14

15 - Lorsque vous videz le bol, faites très attention au couteau, il est très affûté. 8 : TÊTE HACHOIR Accessoires utilises : - Réducteur (j) - Ensemble tête hachoir (k). Montage des accessoires : 8.1 Mise en place du réducteur sur le robot - Placez le réducteur (j) sur le bloc moteur (a) en placant les repères du réducteur et du bloc moteur (a) face à face. Verrouillez-le en le tournant FR vers la droite. 8.2 Assemblage de la tête hachoir - Prenez le corps (k3) par la cheminée en plaçant l ouverture la plus large vers le haut. Introduisez ensuite la vis (k5) (axe long en premier) dans le corps (k3). - Emboitez le couteau (k6) sur l axe court en mettant les arêtes tranchantes vers l extérieur. - Placez la grille choisie (k7-1 ou k7-2) sur le couteau en faisant correspondre les ergots avec les encoches de la tête (k3). - Vissez fortement l écrou (k8) sur le corps (k3) dans le sens des aiguilles d une montre, sans toutefois le bloquer. - Vérifiez le montage. L axe ne doit ni avoir de jeu, ni pouvoir tourner sur luimême. Dans le cas contraire, recommencez les opérations précédentes. - Clipez le guide aliments (k4) sous la tête hachoir (k3). 8.3 Mise en place de la tête hachoir sur l appareil - Face au réducteur (appareil à l arrêt et déconnecté de l alimentation), présentez la tête hachoir (k) cheminée inclinée vers la droite. Engagez la tête hachoir à fond sur le réducteur (j). - Ramenez la cheminée à la verticale jusqu au blocage. La tête hachoir (k) se verrouillera automatiquement sur le réducteur (j) dès sa mise en fonctionnement. - Engagez le plateau amovible (k2) sur la cheminée. - Branchez l appareil. Mise en marche et conseils : - Préparez toute la quantité d aliments à hacher. Eliminez les os, les cartilages et les nerfs. - Coupez la viande en morceaux (2 x 2 cm environ) et placez-les sur le plateau (k2). - Placez un récipient sous la tête hachoir muni du guide aliment (k4). - Tournez le sélecteur de vitesse (a3) sur la position «1» ou «2» pour la mise 15

16 en marche. - Introduisez la viande dans la cheminée morceau par morceau à l aide du poussoir (k1) - Ne poussez jamais les aliments avec les doigts ou tout autre ustensile. N utilisez pas votre appareil plus de 15 minutes lorsque vous hachez de la viande. - Assurez-vous que votre viande est bien décongelée. 9 : RANGEMENT DES ACCESSOIRES Votre robot est muni d une boîte de rangement (m) qui vient se positionner à l intérieur de l ensemble bol (b). Vous pouvez y placer le couteau hachoir inox (d), le couteau pétrin (e), 2 disques : coupe-légumes (g) ou émulsionneur (f). 10 : MISE A LONGUEUR DU CORDON Pour une utilisation plus confortable ou pour le rangement, vous pouvez réduire la longueur du cordon en le poussant à l intérieur du bloc moteur (a) par l ouverture située à l arrière (a4). NETTOYAGE - Débranchez l appareil. - Pour un nettoyage plus facile, rincez rapidement les accessoires après leur utilisation. - Lavez et essuyez les accessoires : ils passent au lave-vaisselle, dans l eau ou sous le robinet à l exception de l ensemble de la tête hachoir (j+k3+k6+k7+k8) et du bloc moteur (a). Essuyez ces derniers avec une éponge humide. - Une fois essuyés, recouvrez d huile alimentaire le couteau 4 branches (k6) et les grilles (k7) pour éviter tout risque d oxydation. - Versez de l eau chaude additionnée de quelques gouttes de savon liquide dans le bol mixer (h3). Fermez le couvercle (h2), muni du bouchon doseur (h1). Donnez quelques impulsions. Débranchez l appareil. Rincez le bol. - Les lames des accessoires sont très affûtées. Manipulez-les avec précaution. Astuce : En cas de coloration de vos accessoires par des aliments (carottes, oranges...), frottez-les avec un chiffon imbibé d huile alimentaire, puis procédez au nettoyage habituel. RANGEMENT Ne rangez pas votre robot dans un environnement humide. 16

17 SI VOTRE APPAREIL NE FONCTIONNE PAS QUE FAIRE? Si votre appareil ne fonctionne pas, vérifiez : - le branchement de votre appareil. - le verrouillage de chaque accessoire. Votre appareil ne fonctionne toujours pas? Adressez-vous à un centre service agréé (voir liste dans le livret Service). 18 QUELQUES RECETTES DE BASE Pâte à pain blanc 500g de farine 300ml d eau tiède 2 sachet de levure de boulanger 10g de sel. Dans le bol du robot muni du couteau hachoir (d) ou pétrin (e), mettez la farine, le sel, la levure de boulanger. Faites fonctionner à vitesse «2», et dès les premières secondes, versez l eau tiède par la cheminée du couvercle. Dès que la pâte forme une boule (environ 60s), arrêtez le robot. Laissez lever la pâte dans un endroit chaud, jusqu à ce que la pâte ait doublé de volume. Ensuite, retravaillez la pâte pour la façonner, puis, posez-la sur votre tôle à pâtisserie beurrée et farinée. Laissez lever une nouvelle fois. Préchauffez votre four à Th.8 (240 ). Dès que le pain a doublé de volume, mettez au four et placez-y un verre rempli d eau, afin de favoriser la formation de la croûte du pain. Laissez cuire pendant 30 à 40 min. Pâte à pizza 150g de farine 90ml d eau tiède 2 cuillères à soupe d huile d olive ½ sachet de levure de boulanger sel. Dans le bol du robot muni du couteau hachoir (d) ou pétrin (e), mettez la farine, le sel, la levure de boulanger. Faites fonctionner à vitesse «2», et dès les premières secondes, versez l eau tiède et l huile d olive par la cheminée du couvercle. Dès que la pâte forme une boule (15 à 20s), arrêtez le robot. Laissez lever la pâte dans un endroit chaud, jusqu à ce que la pâte ait doublé de volume. Préchauffez votre four à Th.8 (240 ). Pendant ce temps, étalez la pâte et garnissez de votre choix : purée de tomates et d oignons, champignons, jambon, mozzarella, etc Agrémentez votre pizza de quelques anchois et d olives noires, saupoudrez d un peu d origan et de gruyère râpé, et sur le tout, versez quelques gouttes d huile d olive. Poser la pizza garnie sur votre tôle à pâtisserie beurrée et farinée. Enfournez pendant 15 à 20 min, en surveillant la cuisson. Pâte brisée 280g de farine 140g de beurre mou en morceaux 70ml d eau une pincée de sel. Dans le bol du robot muni du couteau hachoir (d) ou pétrin (e), mettez la farine, le sel et le beurre. Faites fonctionner à vitesse «2», quelques secondes, puis, versez l eau par la cheminée du couvercle. Laissez fonctionner jusqu à ce que la pâte forme une boule (25 à 30s). Laissez reposer au frais pendant au moins 1h, avant de l étaler et de la faire cuire avec la garniture de votre choix. 18

Mettez la préparation dans un moule à cake, puis faites cuire pendant 1h. Gâteau aux épices 200g de farine, 100g de beurre mou en morceaux, 100g de sucre, 4 oeufs, 60ml de lait, 1 cuillère à café de miel liquide, 1 cuillère à café de cannelle, 1 cuillère à café de gingembre, 1 cuillère à café de muscade râpée, 1 zeste d'orange râpée, 1 pincée de poivre, 1 paquet de levure chimique. Dans le bol du robot muni du couteau hachoir (d) ou pétrin (e), mettez tous les ingrédients. Sélectionnez la vitesse «2» et faites fonctionner pendant 2 min. Mettez dans un moule beurré et fariné, et faites cuire 50min. à Th 6 (180 C). Servez tiède ou froid avec de la compote ou de la marmelade. Gâteau au chocolat 5 œufs, 200g de sucre, 3 cuillères à soupe de farine, 200g de beurre fondu, 200g de chocolat, 1 sachet de levure chimique, 100ml de lait. Faites fondre le chocolat au bain-marie avec 2 cuillères à soupe d eau. Ajoutez le beurre et remuez jusqu à ce que le mélange soit bien fondu. Versez dans un moule beurré et faites cuire environ 1h, Th5/6 (160 C) Crème Chantilly 200ml de crème fraîche liquide très froide, 30g de sucre glace. Le bol doit être bien froid, le mettre au réfrigérateur quelques minutes. Dans le bol du robot muni du disque émulsionneur, mettez la crème fraîche et le sucre glace. Sélectionnez la vitesse «2» et faites fonctionner pendant environ 1min. Mayonnaise 1 ou 2 jaune d'oeufs (selon la taille), 1 cuillère à soupe de moutarde, 1 cuillère à soupe de vinaigre, ¼ de litre d huile, sel, poivre. Dans le bol du robot muni du disque émulsionneur, mettez tous les ingrédients sauf l huile. Sélectionnez la vitesse «2», faites fonctionner pendant 5s, puis sans arrêter le robot, versez l huile très lentement par la cheminée du couvercle. Assembling the accessories: - Place the ingredients in the blender jug (h3) taking care not to exceed the maximum volume of 1 litre. - Position the lid (h2) with its measuring cap (h1) and lock it in place by 26

27 turning in a clockwise direction. - Place the blender jug assembly (h) on the motor unit (a), with the handle facing the speed selector. - Wait for the appliance to stop completely before removing the blender jug from the motor unit. Usage and practical tips: - Turn the speed selector (a3) to position 1 or 2 to start the appliance. Maximum usage time: 3 minutes. You can use the Pulse setting for maximum control over blending. - Never fill the blender jug with boiling liquid. - Always use your blender jug with its lid. - Never use the blender jug with dry products only (hazelnuts, almonds, peanuts, sugar etc.). - Always place the liquid ingredients in the jug before adding the solid ingredients, taking care to avoid exceeding the following maximum levels: - 1 litre for thick mixtures litres for liquid mixtures. - To add ingredients during blending, remove the measuring cap (h1) from the lid and pour in the ingredients through the opening. Tips: - If any ingredients adhere to the sides of the blender jug, stop and unplug the appliance. Remove the blender jug assembly from the motor unit. Dislodge the ingredients using the spatula (l). Never put your hands or fingers in the blender jug or near to the blades. - Be careful when emptying the jug, as the blades are extremely sharp. You can: - prepare finely blended soups, thick creamy soups, fruit puree, milk shakes, cocktails, etc. - mix all types of liquid batters (pancake, Yorkshire pudding, fritter, doughnut, clafoutis, etc.). 6.2 To prepare soya milk, fruit juice, cocktails without pips or skin, you can use the juice filter (h5). Place the filter (h5) in the blender jug (h3) with the metal grills at the bottom, taking care to ensure that filter slots are placed on the inner ribs of the jug. - Put the lid (h2-1) on the blender jug to fix the filter in place. - Insert foods or liquids via the opening for the measuring cap (h1-1). Replace the measuring cap and turn the selector (a3) to position 1 or 2, or use the Pulse setting. 27 EN

28 Tip: To make carrot or apple juice, dice the fruit and add a small quantity of water. - The pestle (h4) enables you to homogenize and pack your preparations (especially thicker mixtures) into the blender jug. Insert the pestle through the central hole in the blender jug lid (h2). When the appliance is functioning, push the food towards the blade with the pestle. CAUTION: Never use the pestle (h4) without the lid (h2), as it could touch the blades. Do not use the pestle with other accessories. You can pour liquids directly into the jug without removing the lid (h2-1) via the filter integrated into the lid. Do this by turning the lid to the filter position (fig 6-2b). 7 : FINELY CHOPPING SMALL QUANTITIES Accessories used: - Fine herb mill (i). Assembling the accessories: - Place the ingredients in the bowl for the fine herb mill (i2). - Place the lid (i1) on the fine herb bowl (i2) and lock it in place by turning in a clockwise direction. - Place the assembly on the motor unit (a). Usage and practical tips: - Turn the speed selector (a3) to position 2 to start the appliance, keeping the fine herb mill on the motor unit at all times during functioning. You can use the Pulse setting for greater control of chopping. - With the fine herb mill (i) you can: - Chop in seconds: - Garlic, parsley, onion, dried bread (for breadcrumbs), ham, etc. Quantity/Maximum time: 50 g/10 seconds. - Dried apricots, dried figs, stoned prunes: Quantity/Maximum time: 80 g/5 seconds. - Be careful when emptying the bowl, as the blade is extremely sharp. 8 : MINCER HEAD Accessories used: - Adapter (j) - Mincer head assembly (k). Assembling the accessories: 8.1 Installing the adapter on the motor unit - Place the adapter (j) on the motor unit (a), carefully lining up the markers on the adapter and the motor unit (a). Lock it in place by turning it to the right. 28

29 8.2 Assembly of the mincer head - Take the body (k3) by the feeder tube with the largest opening uppermost. Next insert the screw (k5) (long axis first) into the body. - Fit the cutter (k6) on the short shaft, ensuring the sharp edges are facing outwards. - Place your chosen grille (k7-1 or k7-2) on the cutter, fitting the lugs into the corresponding notches on the head (k3). - Tighten the nut (k8) firmly on the body (k3) in a clockwise direction, avoiding over-tightening. - Check the assembly. The shaft should be tight-fitting and not pivot or rotate. If this is not the case, then repeat the preceding steps. - Clip the food guide (k4) under the mincer head (k3). 8.3 Fitting the mincer head to the appliance - With the appliance switched off and unplugged, join the mincer head (k), with its feeder tube tilted to the right, to the adapter. Push the mincer head as far as it will go onto the adapter (j). - Bring the feeder tube back up to a vertical position until it locks in to place. The mincer head (k) will lock automatically onto the adapter (j) as soon as it is switched on. - Attach the detachable tray (k2) to the chimney. - Plug in the appliance. Usage and practical tips: - Prepare all the ingredients you wish to mince. Remove all bones, cartilage and sinews. - Chop the meat into chunks (approximately 2 x 2 cm) and place them on the tray (k2). - Place a container under the mincer head fitted with the food guide (k4). - Turn the speed selector (a3) to position 1 or 2 to start the appliance. - Insert the meat into the feeder tube piece by piece using the pusher (k1). - Never push food with the fingers or any other utensils. Do not use your appliance for more than 15 minutes when mincing meat. - Always ensure that frozen meat is completely defrosted. 9 : STORAGE OF ACCESSORIES Your food processor is equipped with a storage box (m) which fits inside the chopping bowl assembly (b). You can use it to store the stainless steel chopping blade (d), the dough blade (e), 2 disks: vegetable cutting (g) or emulsifying (f). 10 : LENGTH OF POWER CABLE For ease of use and storage, you can reduce the length of the power cable by 29 EN

30 pushing it inside the motor unit (a) via the opening located at the rear (a4). CLEANING - Unplug the appliance. - For easier cleaning, rinse the accessories immediately after use. - Wash and dry the accessories: you can clean them all in the dishwasher, in water, or under the tap, except for the mincer head assembly (j+k3+k6+k7+k8) and the motor unit (a), which should be wiped with a damp sponge. - Once you have dried them, wipe the 4-blade cutter (k6) and the grilles (k7) with vegetable oil to avoid them rusting. - Pour hot water with a few drops of washing up liquid into the blender jug (h3). Close the lid (h2) with the measuring cap (h1) and Pulse briefly. Unplug the appliance and rinse the jug. - The accessory blades are extremely sharp. Handle them with care. Tip: If the accessories become discoloured by foods (carrots, oranges, etc.), rub them with a cloth dipped in vegetable oil and then wash them as normal. STORAGE Avoid storing your food processor in a damp environment. As soon as the dough has doubled in volume, place it in the oven with a glass of water in order to encourage the formation of a crust. Cook for 30 to 40 minutes. For the UK only Use 500 g strong white bread flour. Substitute 2 sachets of dried yeast with 1 teaspoon of Easy Bake or Fast Action dried yeast and add to the bowl with the flour plus 1 teaspoon salt. Add 300 ml warm water and process as above. After processing, shape the dough into a ball and place on a greased baking tray. Leave to rise for about 1 hour in a warm place until doubled in size. Shape and cook for about 20 min in a preheated oven at 220 C, UK gas mark 7 and then reduce to 180 C/UK Gas mark 4 for a further 15 mins. Pizza dough 150g of flour 90ml of warm water 2 tablespoons of olive oil ½ sachet of dried yeast salt Place the flour, salt and yeast in the bowl with the chopping blade (d) or the dough blade (e). Set the appliance on speed 2 and immediately add the warm water and the olive oil via the feed tube in the lid. As soon as the dough forms a ball (15 to 20 seconds), stop the appliance. Set the dough aside to rise to double its volume in a warm place. Preheat your oven to 240 C. While it s heating, roll out the dough and garnish with the pizza topping of your choice: onions and tomato puree, mushrooms, ham, mozzarella, etc. Add a few anchovies and black olives, then sprinkle with oregano and grated gruyere cheese, and finally drizzle with a few drops of olive oil. Place the pizza on a floured and greased baking tray and cook for 15 to 20 minutes, checking regularly. For the UK only Use strong white bread flour. Substitute half sachet of bakers yeast with half teaspoon of Easy Bake or Fast Action dried yeast and add to the bowl with the flour, ½ teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon sugar. Then prepare as directed above with 90 ml warm water and 1 tablespoon olive oil. Roll out to a 28 cm circle and cover with the topping of your choice. Bake in a preheated oven at 220 C, UK gas mark 7 for about mins or until crisp. Rich shortcrust pastry 280g of plain flour 140g of softened butter cut into pieces (do not substitute margarine) 70ml of water a pinch of salt Place the flour, salt and butter in the bowl with the chopping blade (d) or the dough blade (e). Set the appliance on speed 2 for a few seconds then add the water via the 32

33 feed tube in the lid. Continue until the dough forms a ball (25 to 30 seconds). Set the dough aside to rest in a cool place for at least 1 hour, before rolling out and garnishing. Pancake batter (in bowl (b) with the chopping blade (d) or in the blender jug (h)) 160g of plain flour 1/3 of a litre of milk 2 eggs ½ a teaspoon of fine salt 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil 15g of caster sugar (optional) Rum or orange blossom or vanilla according to taste Using chopping blade: Place all the ingredients in the bowl with the chopping blade (d). Start the appliance on speed 1 for 20 seconds, and then increase to speed 2 for 25 seconds. Using blender: Place all the ingredients except the flour in the blender jug. Set the appliance on speed 2, and after a few seconds begin gradually adding the flour via the central hole in the blender jug lid. Continue blending for 45 seconds. Sponge cake 200g of plain flour, 200g of softened butter cut into pieces, 200g of caster sugar, 4 whole eggs, 1 sachet of baking powder or 3 teaspoons baking powder, 1 pinch of salt Place all the ingredients in the bowl with the chopping blade (d) or the dough blade (e). Place the sugar and the eggs in the bowl with the chopping blade (d) or the dough blade (e) and operate the appliance on speed 2 for 45 seconds until the mixture becomes frothy. Reduce to speed 1 without stopping the appliance and add the melted chocolate, the flour, the baking powder and the milk via the feed tube in the lid. When all the ingredients are incorporated, continue mixing for another 15 seconds on speed 2. Pour the mixture into a greased tin and cook for approximately 1 hour at 160 C. Chantilly cream 200ml of chilled whipping cream, 30g of icing sugar Place the bowl in the fridge for a few minutes to ensure that it is completely chilled. Place the cream and the icing sugar in the bowl fitted with the emulsifying disk. Select speed 2 and mix for approximately 1 minute. Mayonnaise 1 or 2 egg yolks (depending on size), 1 teaspoon mild mustard, 1 tablespoon of wine vinegar, ¼ of a litre of oil, salt, pepper Place all the ingredients except the oil in the bowl fitted with the emulsifying disk. Select speed 2 and mix for 5 seconds, and then start adding the oil slowly via the feed tube in the lid. When the mayonnaise begins to reach the proper consistency, it turns pale. Important: to succeed, your ingredients should all be at room temperature. Note: keep your mayonnaise in the fridge and consume within 24 hours. 34
