Ή χρησιμοποιείται ευρέως τουλάχιστον στις μέρες μας. Στο παρελθόν έχει χρησιμοποιηθεί και κακοποιηθεί. Κατά κάποιο τρόπο συνοψίζει όλη την ποικιλομορφία όσον αφορά την έλλειψη των σαφών και καλά καθορισμένων τάσεων, όπως κατά τη γνώμη μου, συναντάμε στο σύγχρονο design επίπλων. Η περιγραφή της συλλογής θα μπορούσε να ξεκινήσει με αυτό το επίθετο. Η φιλοσοφία, ακόμη κι αν λάβουμε υπόψη τη διαφορετικότητα κάθε γλώσσας, είναι απλή: ο συνδυασμός ανάμεσα στο vintage και μοντέρνο ύφος, ανάμεσα στις κλασικές και σημερινές σύγχρονες τάσεις. Μας μεταφέρει σε ένα νεανικό, καθαρό και μίνιμαλ look με σχήματα που θυμίζουν τις ασπρόμαυρες ή technicolor ταινίες, όπου συνδυάζεται το ξύλο με τη λάκα σε γήινα χρώματα, εξαλείφοντας το νεανικό στοιχείο του μινιμαλισμού αλλά διατηρώντας την ουσία, απορρίπτωντας κάθετι περιττό, υπερασπίζοντας το φυσικό στοιχείο πλαισιωμένο από το βιομηχανικό. These collection descriptions could start with this adjective. In the end the concept, even collecting an alleged apparent diversity of languages, is simple: to combine a dialogue between vintage and modernity, between the recent classics and the today s contemporary trends. It moves us towards a fresh, clean and minimal look with shapes that remind us of black and white or technicolor movies, pairing clear woods and lacquers in stone colours, eliminating the coolness of minimalism but keeping the essence, refusing the superfluous, vindicating the natural framed by the industrial.
