Consecration Preparations under way! You may have noticed the paint swatches on our church walls. Preparations for beautifying the interior of our Sanctuary have been made! We are very excited to announce that we begin painting on February 1st!

3 Epistle - St. Paul's Letter to the Ephesians 4:7-13 RETHREN, grace was given to each of us according B to the measure of Christ's gift. Therefore it is said, "When he ascended on high he led a host of captives, and he gave gifts to men." (in saying, "He ascended," what does it mean but that he had also descended into the lower parts of the earth? He who descended is he who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.) And his gifts were that some should be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. Tabor Hall 8:30am - 1pm As We Prepare for the Consecration of Our Temple by Consecrating Our Hearts Presvytera Vasiliki will lead us through another spiritual journey. Receiving Holy Communion The sacrament of Holy Communion is reserved for only baptized and/or Chrismated Orthodox Christians who have properly prepared by fasting, prayer and confession. The Orthodox Church is not in sacramental communion with any other church outside the Orthodox Christian Faith. If you are not Orthodox, you are invited with everyone to receive the Antidoron (blessed bread) at the end of service. If you would like information about the Orthodox Church, please see Fr. FUNDRAISING LUNCHEON The Annual Metropolis of Denver Basketball Tournament is just around the corner and our GOYAns are preparing. They are sponsoring today s luncheon to raise funds for this annual event. Once again we are going with four teams: a junior girls team, a senior girls team, a junior boys team and a senior boys team. Your help and support will ensure that all of them get to participate in this beautiful, fun and team building activity that our Metropolis organizes.
