There is There are Κατάφαση: There is / There are Άρνηση: There isn t / There aren t Ερώτηση: Is there / Are there Σύντομη απάντηση: Yes, there is / No, there isn t / Yes, there are / No there aren t. There is a rabbit. There isn t a rabbit. Is there a rabbit? Yes, there is. No, there isn t. Ερωτηματικές Λέξεις Λέξεις που χρησιμοποιούμε για να κάνουμε ερωτήσεις όπως: When = Πότε; (Ρωτούμε να μάθουμε το πότε, δηλαδή τον χρόνο που γίνεται κάτι.) Where = Που; (Ρωτούμε να μάθουμε το που, δηλαδή που γίνεται κάτι.) Who = Ποιος (Ρωτούμε να μάθουμε το ποιος, δηλαδή ποιος κάνει κάτι.) What = Τι (Ρωτούμε να μάθουμε το τι, δηλαδή ποιο πράγμα είναι.) Why = Γιατί; (Ρωτούμε να μάθουμε το γιατί, δηλαδή γιατί γίνεται κάτι.) When is your birthday? Πότε είναι τα γενέθλια σου; Where is my book? Που είναι το βιβλίο μου; Who is your best friend? 4 GRAMMAR POINT EXPLANATION EXAMPLE 4 Είναι ένας χρόνος που δείχνει ότι κάτι γίνεται σε συγκεκριμένες στιγμές. Δηλαδή επαναλαμβάνεται ξανά και ξανά. Χρησιμοποιούμε Present Simple μετά από εκφράσεις όπως: always = πάντα never = ποτέ sometimes = κάποτε often = συχνά usually = συνήθως every day = κάθε μέρα every week = κάθε εβδομάδα every month = κάθε μήνα every year = κάθε χρόνο Present Simple Απλός Ενεστώτας Κατάφαση: I go You go He goes She goes It goes We go You go They go Άρνηση I don t go You don t go He doesn t go She doesn t go It doesn t go We don t go You don t go They don t go Ερώτηση: Do I go? 5 GRAMMAR POINT EXPLANATION EXAMPLE 5 Ο Present Continuous (Ενεστώτας διάρκειας) δείχνει μια πράξη που γίνεται τώρα (now). Χρησιμοποιούμε Present Simple μετά από εκφράσεις όπως: Now = τώρα At the moment = αυτή τη στιγμή Look, Listen = κοίτα, άκουσε Σχηματίζεται ως εξής: Πρόσωπο + am/is/are + -ing Present Continuous. Ενεστώτας Διαρκείας. Κατάφαση: I am going You are going He/She/It is going We are going You are going They are going Άρνηση I am not going You are not going He is not going She is not going It is not going We are not going You are not going They are not going Το ρήμα Like. Ερώτηση Am I going? Are you going? Is he going? Is she going? Is it going? Are we going? Are you going? Are they going? Το ρήμα Like σημαίνει μου αρέσει / συμπαθώ. Μετά το ρήμα Like αν ακολουθεί ένα άλλο ρήμα τότε το δεύτερο ρήμα παίρνει την κατάληξη ing. I like making cakes with my grandmother.

Τα περισσότερα ουσιαστικά σχηματίζουν τον πληθυντικό τους προσθέτοντας την κατάληξη -S στον ενικό αριθμό. Π.χ. chair - chairs, book - books, flower - flowers. Όμως εάν η κατάληξη του ουσιαστικού είναι με: O, S, SS, SH, CH, X, τότε ο πληθυντικός σχηματίζεται με την κατάληξη es. Π.χ. Fox-foxes, tomato-tomatoes, torch-torches κλπ. ΕΞΑΙΡΕΣΗ: Oι λέξεις που δεν προέρχονται από την Αγγλική Γλώσσα όπως όπως PIANO και RADIO. Ο πληθυντικός τους είναι :Pianos- Radios. Tα ουσιαστικά που τελειώνουν σε y και πριν από αυτά υπάρχει σύμφωνο, μετατρέπουν το y σε ies. Π.χ. Baby - babies. AΛΛΑ: boy - boys, toy - toys. cat - cats book - books ball - balls bicycle - bicycles bus - buses box - boxes peach - peaches bush - bushes tomato - tomatoes boy-boys strawberry - strawberries cherry - cherries ΑΝΩΜΑΛΑ ΟΥΣΙΑΣΤΙΚΑ child - children man - men woman - women goose - geese tooth - teeth ox - oxen mouse - mice sheep - sheep deer - deer ADJECTIVES ΕΠΙΘΕΤΑ best, big, favourite, little, short, small, tall, happy, sad, black, blue, brown, green, grey, orange, pink, purple, red, white, yellow, new, old young, clever, good, nice
