Effrenestho ta Urania, agalliastho ta epigia, oti epiise kratos, en vraghoni aftu, o Kirios, Epatise to thanato ton thanaton, prototokos ton nekron egeneto, ek kilias athu erisato imas, ke pareske to kosmo to mega eleos. Let all things above in heav n rejoice, and let all things below on earth be glad With all the might and strength of His arm an eternal deed the Lord did perform Beneath His feet He has trampled down death by death, and first born of the dead has He become From the womb of Hades has He delivered us, and to all the world has granted His great redeeming mercy Hymn for the Nativity of the Theotokos Ἡ γέννησίς σου Θεοτόκε, χαρὰν ἐμήνυσε πάσῃ τῇ οἰκουμένῃ ἐκ σοῦ γὰρ ἀνέτειλεν ὁ ἥλιος τῆς δικαιοσύνης, Χριστὸς ὁ Θεὸς ἡμῶν, καὶ λύσας τὴν κατάραν, ἔδωκε τὴν εὐλογίαν καὶ καταργήσας τὸν θάνατον, ἐδωρήσατο ἡμῖν ζωὴν τὴν αἰώνιον. Thy Nativity, O Theotokos, hath proclaimed joy to the whole world; for from thee hath dawned the sun of Righteousness, Christ our God, annulling the curse and bestowing the blessing, abolishing death and granting us life everlasting Hymn for the Transfiguration of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Metemorfothis en to ori, Christe o Theos, dixas tis mathites Sou tin doxan Sou, kathos idynando Lampson ke imin tis amartolis to fos Sou to aidion, presvies tis Theotokou Fotodota doxa Si. When O Christ our God Thou wast Transfigured on the mountain Thou didst reveal Thy glory to Thy disciples in proportion as they could bear it. Let Thine everlasting light also enlighten us sinners. Through the intercessions of the Theotokos, O Thou Bestower of light, glory to Thee Kontakion Joachim and Anna were freed from the reproach of childlessness, and Adam and Eve from the corruption of death, O immaculate one, by thy holy Nativity, which thy people, redeemed from the guilt of offences, celebrate by crying to thee: The barren woman giveth birth to the Theotokos, the nourisher of our life

Ep i s t l e - St. Pa u l ' s L e t t e r t o t h e G a l at i a n s 6 : 1 1 St. Pa u l ' s L e t t e r t o t h e G a l at i a n s 6 : 1 1-1 8 B RETHREN, see with what large letters I am writing to you with my own hand. It is those who want to make a good showing in the flesh that would compel you to be circumcised, and only in order that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. For even those who receive circumcision do not themselves keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may glory in your flesh. But far be it from me to glory except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. For neither circumcision counts for anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation. Peace and mercy be upon all who walk by this rule, upon the Israel of God. Henceforth let no man trouble me; for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brethren. Amen. G o s p e l - Joh n 3 : 1 3-17 T he Lord said, "No one has ascended into heaven but he who descended from heaven, the Son of man. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him." Our Sunday School is back in session, so please let the children take communion first as they need to get to their classes. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP
